Not the Patriots fault...not sure why we would trade down with a couple guys dropping into our laps like that...TT must not have been enamoured with him. Anybody know what we got in exchange? We better have gotten the better end of that bargain or we just got screwed.

Only bumping this thread because it is funny in retrospect because of the other recent trades TT has done with New England. I stumbled upon this thread while doing a google search.

Dunno what this is supposed to prove? You wanna bring back the posts about Justin Harrell too? Will that make Packer fans look really smart compared to the Packer staff?

I mean, I get it - people can get carried away and become emotional. Part of being a fan. But that people (fans and NFL teams) are often wrong predicting the future... Especially when it comes to evaluating college talent?

Ok, I'll buy that. Do emotions get in the way of evaluation? Heck yeah. But here's the rub, you didn't need to bring back a thread, I could have told you that freely and no time or bandwidth would need be wasted.

The point is, isn't it fun trying to predict the future? A pleasant distraction from the everyday? Hence, Footballsfuture...

somebody made a post draft day 1 regarding the pats/pack relationship and how we've gone blow for blow so to speak as far as who comes out on top. Included some trades where NE leapfrogged us (such as day 1 2012) and also where we directly trade.

This is an interesting relationship, one we have come out on top though as far as direct trades. (So far)

Holy 2006 Batman!

Before this is locked, I want to add something someone else said (don't recall which of you pointed it out) TT and BB seem to trade a lot. Both have accomidated eachother moving up or down the draft. In the 2012 draft alone they did it twice. I think they have similar philosophies but likely different evaluations of players. Thus are not hesitant to trade.

I'm only locking this thread because it's against forum rules to bump threads that are beyond dead and gone, whatever the reason.
