Self explanatory. 11-12 is the only year that doesn't count.
The past decade was no doubt a rough one, but who were the top ten Raiders of the past decade?
Here's some players, I'm having a rough time making a top ten list lol but I'm curious to see what you guys think. It's tough because I was like 10 in 2001 lol and there's some things I vaguely remember.
Shane Lechler
Rich Gannon
Tim Brown
Nnamdi Asomugha
derrick Burgess
Zack Crockett
Lincoln Kennedy
Greg Beikert
Jerry Rice
Tyrone Wheatley
Charlie Garner
Charles Woodson

1. Rich Gannon - sorry for those who support others like Lechler or Jano, bt he is a QB who won an MVP. Despite the 5 INTs in the SB which I despise, he still wins.
2. Lechler - even though P isn't the most important position, he's year after year a spectacular player who breaks records.
3. Asomugha - the only great player on bad teams, even if I see a one dimensional player. It's one damn great dimension..
4. McFadden - I don't care who is going to say he misses too many games, and I know it will happen. Nothing better than watching him blast someone at the end of a run or flying past everyone. That alone is worth the slot, the joy of watching him play.
5. Tim Brown - he doesn't deserve this slot based on play in the 2000s, but as a nod to the previous years he gets it.
6. 2002 OL - an awesome line.
7. Janikowski - been great the last few years, finally showing up. The previous years he was good but never great.
8. Charlie Garner, Zack Crockett, Tyrone Wheatley - this backfield was a joy to behold and the true way your RBs should be filling their roles. TW up the middle, Garner out of the backfield and around the end, Crockett on 3rd and 1 or goalline. Unstoppable.
9. Sapp and Burgess - these guys actually could rack up some nice sacks, back when the pass D was a legit stalwart. Even if the stats were skewed because of the failures vs. the run, they were still good..
That's all I want to denote. Can't think of a 10 worth writing. |

Your list includes 13 players. Also the last decade has been the worst stretch of Raider History in recent memory. The last decade has also been brutal for player turnover. Not much sense in trying to find the top 10 raiders over the last 10 years. Seems as if things are finally trending in the right direction. _________________

If that's true, we have the saddest team and the most absolute worst personnel. McFadden is arguably not even top 4 on the current roster let alone in the 2000s hahahahah.

Wow. Your posts are laughable sometimes.
Mcfaddens health is connected directly to team success. He is that important to the team. That's what makes him a good draft pick. _________________

If you're going to call my posts laughable, shouldn't you keep yours in context of what we're discussing?? Who's talking about draft picks? I'm talking about who was and is a top 10 player since the 2000s. I don't know what in the world you're talking about. Maybe you should read and stop trying to mock me.
What is better to you:
3 Year Tenure
2,354 yards rushing
211 catches for 1,905 yards
And totaling 18 TDs
or
4 Year Tenure
2,627 yards rushing
116 catches for 1191 yards
And totaling 20 TDs
?????
Again, I would look at the material prior to the person who posted it. Might make yourself look less foolish. _________________

If he was a raider draft pick doesn't that make him a raider player??? And No running back has been a bigger part of the offense than dmc. I think most on here would agree with me on that. Don't try to bash people when your wrong. Your like the s. bayless on the raider foRum lol _________________

But he is not wrong. McFadden in the top 10 raiders from 2000 to 2010 is ridiculous. But having him at number 4 is asinine, asiten, asieleven and asitwelve. |

Ugh..... AGAIN.... why are you talking about draft picks?? No one is saying anything about draft picks except you. Why? Who cares? The list has nothing to do about draft picks.
Also, if you feel Garner wasn't a part of the offense, you obviously never watched the team back then.

Dude, I really haven't had any personal interaction with you on the site. But now I see what everyone is saying. You're a troll.
#1, the rankings are subjective. If you don't know what that means, in this case it means it's an opinion, and a ranking based on my personal perspective of things. Many perspectives can exist, which makes it based on the viewpoint of the subject, me, thus, subjective.
#2, learn to read. Straight up dude, read the goddamn notes written next to the ranking. I ranked him there based on how much I enjoy watching him as a fan.
Stop being such a damn troll and start trying to integrate yourself into this site with just a bit more respect for the possibility of different ways of seeing things and respect for others. |
