Free agent Vince Young will work out for the Bills on Wednesday.

We've been projecting Buffalo as a likely landing spot for V.Y. since the start of free agency. Coach Chan Gailey has an extensive history of maximizing the production of scrambling QBs with questionable passing skills. While Ryan Fitzpatrick is entrenched as the starter, Young would be the favorite to beat out Tyler Thigpen for the top backup job

Would be a nice backup and Gailey is very good at getting the most out of mobile QB's.

Thoughts?

Vince Young squandered his opportunity in Philadelphia, but lets not forget he looked pretty good as a Titan at times. If he signs, he is easily their most talented Quarterback. Ryan Fitzpatrick was pretty bad last year, I see no reason why Vince Young couldn't compete for the starting job and possibly win it if he is motivated enough. Vince Young has all the physical tools, just not the mental maturity.

So they're going to have what may be the most and least intelligent quarterbacks in the NFL.

Wouldn't be an awful signing.... but he has got to learn how to take care of the football. Yes, he has the "clutch" gene, but he's shown no signs of it lately. This is a "what have you done for me lately" league. Lately, Vince Young throws picks in every. Single. Game.

Didn't Vince Young throw only 3 interceptions in 8 starts in 2010?

Think

He made up for it last year by throwing 9 INTs in 6 games and looking like one of the worst QBs in the league.

You forgot to bold:

"Lately,"

Last year:

@WAS 1 attempt - 1 INT
@NYG 36 attempts - 3 INT
v NE 48 attempts - 1 INT
@ SEA 29 attempts 4 INT

He didn't play the rest of the year.

That's what he's done "Lately,"
