Missed of few of the developmental guys already on the roster. Many of these actually made appearances on the roster or PS last year which gives them a leg up.

Add:
Torri Williams - #3 FS
Javaris Williams #3 RB
Juaquin Iglesias - #9 WR
Ra'Shon Harris - #3 DT
Andrew Gardner - #3 RG
Trindon Holliday - #11 WR (doubt he makes it but he's on the roster)

Switch:
Derek Newton to #2 RT (too slow for left)

Change:
stop overrating Lestar Jean based on 1 preseason catch
He belongs #7 or #8 behind Maehl and Dwight Jones

Might as well add PR & KR to specialist
KR - Manning, McManus, Demps, Holliday, Martin
PR - Jacoby, Holliday, Martin, Keo

So given that list, I still see needs for the following:

Cornerback: McCain and McManus #2 on a depth chart is terrifying. We need to go out and replace Jason Allen ASAP. I think Michael Jenkins got a bad rap in Dallas for shoddy Safety play and from people unwilling to blame Terence Newman. I like Newman, but we need to make sure he's healthy. Whether you like these guys or not, you can't tell me that they both don't possess the potential to push KJ for #2 and at the very least would be better than McManus as #4.

Tight End: We have no blocking Tight End that I can see. Maybe one of the UDFAs fits the bill, but we need one for goalline and short yardage at least.

Kicker - sure Bullock was a feel good pick, but we definitely need a vet to come push him as it's not like he's a sure thing as even he was a bit surprised that he got drafted. Josh Brown from the Rams makes decent sense.

Supposedly the TCU UDFA is a blocking TE also I heard Jason Ford wants to bulk up and play FB, ill wait till be get conformation before I move him

I think Mike Jenkins is on the trade block. I wouldn't mind giving up a 5th or 6th round pick to the Cowboys for him. Heres an article talking about it. He doesn't sound like the type of player the Texans would want though. He gives up at times and isn't physical.

Changed some of the suggestions Apollo brought up and also took Jacoby off of everything!

Personally I think Holliday and Martin get the bulk of return duties in the preseason seeing as Holliday spent the last year at the all inclusive Texans IR resort this is his last chance at contributing

Also I agree Manning is the #1 KO return man but I don't think the coaching staff risk him getting injured unless it's late and we need to field position in a close game or like we did starting him in the playoffs

Apparently Kubiak's favorite of the young receivers is Lester Jean.

My guess is he is the #5 unless we sign a vet.

Ya that's what i've been reading and I figure guys like Jean, and Mahel have the upper hand on the rooks since they now the playbook already

Let's just say it'll be an interesting training camp/pre-season

I think Maehl is a year away, but will habe a chance to supplant Kevin Walter next offseason. This year I think we go with Dre, Walter, Posey, Martin, and Jean as the 5 that dress. Hopefully Jones is on the 53-man roster so we don't expose him to someone wanting to pick him up, but I don't think he makes an impact this year.

I think we need a better 3rd string RB. Williams, Maggett, Grimes and Ford aren't doing it for me. I really wish we resigned Ward, but since we havent resigned him yet that tells me that he wants more money than we probably offered.

I somewhat agree but I want to see what the young guys have first I know Maggett has good blood lines and had a decent season last year at Maryland. And I think Williams can be serviceable as a 3rd stringer.

That being said if we have an injury to Arian or Tate then we have to go pick someone up

Your last point is basically what I was going to say next. If Foster or Tate is hurt then we are basically screwed. I would rather us resign Ward since he knows the system and he has experience, but we could be forced to keep a rookie as the 3rd stringer. I expect alot of work from the UDFA backs we signed during preseason.

Ya we know what Tate and Foster bring that just need to go that magical number of game reps that gets them ready
