we went Wisconsin heavy this draft and here's to hoping that continues with Montee Ball RB. This kid is a beast, I'm thinking by this time next year Turner will really be done so getting someone who can start at RB will be a need. Number 2 is Bacarri Rambo FS, he's a ball hawk and a will come up a smack you too, if DeCoud nuts up I'd love to have Rambo come take his job. Last guy is William Gholston DE...talk about beast mode, he goes hard, watched him against my bulldogs in the bowl game and he was damn near unblockable. Abe came back but this is probably his farewell tour so it'll be a need for sure...Of course we're probably looking at guys who could all be 1st and 2nd round picks so getting them all is a stretch and we'll have to handle getting a TE too and a continued stocking of the OLine...but I just wanted to say that these 3 are my guys...watch them blow up!!

Akintu, unfortunately 2 of your guys will not be on the Falcons board more than likely. Rambo has had drug-related problems, and Gholston has gotten suspended for punching another player in the face. We do not take kids that big of character concerns.
My 5 are (I like a lot of guys from next year's draft)..
Marcus Lattimore
Levine Toilolo
Tyler Eifert
Giovani Bernard

Most likely gone to either to age or contract: Baker, Babs, Turner, Peria, and Gonzalez. All these are needs that could be addressed. As well as, ATL is banking on Dent or Tatupu being a quality replacement for the loss of Lofton...these could be addressed. (LT, DT, RB, TE, or MLB)
BUT!!!...we really never did address bringing in a premier pass rusher. We have Mossaquoi, Sidbury, and Cliff Matthews all as projects. I feel that Nolan can make the most out of retained guys (Abraham, Biermann, and Edwards), but we never really did address the #1 position needed going into the 2012 draft.
So, ATL might look at pass rushers such as Porter out of TA&M or Okafor from Texas. Jarvis Jones would be the best DE/OLB on the board but way gone by our pick late in the draft (hopefully pick 32). |

Actually Rambo got snuck a weed brownie this off-season, no drug issues to speak of there. Lattimore tore his ACL or something towards the end of last year didn't he? _________________

Yes MLat did.
Also I could claim I am the President, but that doesn't mean it's true. I wouldn't be surprised if we stay away from him anyways.
I REALLY like Gholston, but as I mentioned before he is sort of a thug. _________________

I honestly think you need a thug "on the field" example: practically every ravens defenive player on the roster is a thug but they do tremendous work off the field to better their community and have great charecter
And my guys i want are
:monte ball
Jake stoneburner
Manti te'o

We draft clean guys though is the point I was getting to.
I've started a 2013 prospect rankings/analysis thread. If any of you guys are interested in reading.. Right now only QBs are up but I will have all the positions up within a week, 2 tops! I would love some discussion.

| Gimme DJ Fluker, Tyler Eifert, or Barkevious Mingo. I also would love to draft Keenan Allen just as a luxury pick |

Give me Chase Thomas, DE/LB from Stanford. He fits in a 3-4. He really has no fit on our team.
But scar knows why too I want him.
(Oh yeah, and if we got Eifert I'd do a jig. And y'all know why too. ) _________________ "John Wayne and Rio Lobo are coming up next, just as soon as Jeffrey Leonard hits into a 6-4-3." (CRACK!) "Six...four...three!" -- Skip Caray |

Chase is a good guy. He'd fit well as a SLB and could even play MLB for us. Dude is smart, got into Stanford academically with a half scholarship before they offered him a full football scholarship. I was actually part of why he chose Stanford over UGA when he was getting recruited. He is one of my brother's good friends and I laid out what both places had in store and Harbaugh being at Stanford was too much to pass up. He played DE and MLB while at Walton and is from the ATL area people. Him, Dent, Spoon could be a fun combo at linebacker. _________________

Manti Te'o
Xavier Rhodes
then I'm torn between Jenkins and Okafor. I want that elite pass rusher to replace Abe, because I'm not sure the're going to give Sid the chance he deserves.
T.J. McDonald is worth a look too. Rhodes is my #1 target though, let grimes go and bring in X. _________________ Coming Soon to a Quarterback near you

My top 3 that I want for 2012:
1) LB Chase Thomas - can play WLB, MLB, SLB in any scheme. I really like this kid and it's not cause he's my little brother's friend. He's just a good player.
2) TE Tyler Eifert - if he comes out is a top 20 player in the draft. Reminds me of Coby Fleener and will create huge matchup issues.
3) DT Jesse Williams - he's an Aussie who has a nasty temperament and huge size at 6'3" 320. However, he's not a slow 320, he's a Marcell Dareus type 320 where he can move quickly and generate push. He's a great fit for the NT and would let Peters play UT in the defense.
as of now though I have Eifert as a late 1st, Thomas as an early 3rd and Williams as a mid 4th... so we would have to take them 1) TE Eifert, 2) LB Thomas, 3) DT Williams. _________________
