Trolling is not welcomed here kind sir.
Last night was.. just.. i'm trying to find the right word.. pathetic? i don't even think that does that game justice. We made the Kings look like the 80s Oilers.
You saw how different a team we are without Petro too. Been praying all last night and today he's in for Thursday..
Halak is out for the series as well so we'll see how Elliott bounces back Thursday. _________________

Sorry. Didn't mean for it to sound/look like trolling.
I'm just happy and suprised (like against Van.) that we are doing this well. Last night, the Blues seemed to be not themselves for lack of a better term.
It is suprising that one guy can and does make such a huge impact on a team. As you said, with Petro. out, a huge difference. Van. had D. Sedin out for the first 3 games. Game 4, Van. looked like the team that got the #1 seed.
Sorry again if it seemed like trolling. _________________ The Lions will finish 8-8 in the 2013-14 season.

I didn't think it was trolling.
Anyway, I'm almost never for retribution, but I'm really wanting some boarding action on our part. I hate that a very dangerous hit took out Petro, who is a huge part of our success. And we didn't even get a major out of it. And it goes both ways. Earlier in the year, Stewart had a baaaad boarding on Kronwall which I'm still surprised that he came back from. Concussions are a serious part of the sport, and I don't wish that on anybody. But if we could make a dangerous play on, say, Kopitar's lower body, I wouldn't mind. It just sucks that one dangerous hit has to put us behind the eight-ball for the entire series.... |

So, you don't wish it on anybody....... except Kopitar?
I know it sucks but don't wish injury on anybody. That's just wrong. _________________ The Lions will finish 8-8 in the 2013-14 season.

Which part? The you wouldn't mind if your team injures Kopitar part? Or were you referring to not giving him a concussion but a lower body injury is cool? Either way, that's hoping a guy gets injured, don't ya think?
Either way, it does suck Petrol is out. He's a very good player. Hopefully he cam come back. I haven't seen a report on him so I don't know if he is or not.
Good luck. See you after game 3. _________________ The Lions will finish 8-8 in the 2013-14 season.

Just.. Pathetic..
Elliott played like dog [inappropriate/removed] too.
It was a fun season while it lasted. Sucks to go out like this though.. _________________

We'll see how this team reacts with their season on the brink.
I hope Reaves goes out there and just knocks the [inappropriate/removed] out of anybody in sight. _________________

Disappointing way to end the season especially with the high expectations heading into the playoffs but still the Blues have a terrific young core and should be a contender for years to come. The future is bright, so while it stinks to go out this way, it's a good time to be a Blues fan. _________________

Yeah, it's disappointing to go out like this, but if anybody said at the beginning of the season we would be the #2 seed in the West and get to the second round, everybody would have taken it. Our future is very bright and I can't wait for next year. With the possibility of Tarasenko coming over, Schwartz playing all year, and an owner who will let Army spend some money is something to be excited about.
I'll add more onto this in the next day or so.. _________________

I would say the same thing if the roles were reversed. Your Blues do have a bright future and will be back.
The Kings are on a hot streak but in no way did I see a sweep coming. I'm loving every part of it.
As you guys said, it may stink to go out this way but you'll be back next season and I'll say for many more afterwards. Good luck. _________________ The Lions will finish 8-8 in the 2013-14 season.

Apparently Oshie may have a knee injury he was playing through and Petro has an injured MCL on the hit from King.
I hope whoever plays LA (likely Phoenix), they take King out. He's garbage and you could tell Petro wasn't the same in Game's 3 and 4. _________________

If nobody has heard, Vladimir Tarasenko the Blues top prospect and one of the best prospects in all of hockey, if not the best has agreed to a 3 year contract to come play for the 'Note next season! It isn't official until July 1st, but still great news even if many people knew he would be heading over here.
Can't wait to see him play next year..
Big question now is, where do you play him? People feel he has top 6 talent in the NHL now after dominating the KHL getting 4th line type minutes.
