Heard adderall sas the controlled 2 substance. Marijuana and adderall sounds like a college student during finals...He should know better though as a star football under a microscope. _________________ Life is like an item box: you never know what you're gonna get.....unless you're in last place, then you will probably get lightning

Can't blame him. College is college, live a little
Freshman/sophomore year man, no one is going to care. He'll be back on the team soon cause talented players always get let off with ease. When it comes time for him to declare, people will flag this incident and others as 'character issues', then he'll blow people away with his combine and personal workouts, making all of the negatives go away.
The circle of life in the NCAA and NFL. Wish I could experience it... _________________

He probably won't ever escape the "character concerns" label, even if he gets drafted highly. Being a famous wide receiver for the Clemson Tigers is living a little in itself. He should recognize that in order to be successful, he needs to perform at a high level and stay out of trouble. That means no smoking grass and popping pills. These things aren't a red flag because of the act itself. But when a player flaunts the rules carelessly, and acts like he's invincible, it suggests that he doesn't understand how easily his success can be taken away from him. How will this kid react when things get harder? Will he assume he'll get a job handed to him in the NFL, just like he assumed he won't be held responsible for his actions at school?
Watkins is an electrifying player and he has a fairly unique skillset as well. I hope he learns from this and plays well this season. _________________

It's carelessness too. I mean it's not that hard not to get caught, but somehow these athletes always are. It's like they think they're invincible or they're incredibly stupid. Usually a bit of both _________________

Eh who cares. Any of us that have been to college have either probably smoked pot or knows someone who is a total pothead. I really don't see it as a big deal until it reaches the point where he'd rather smoke pot then put effort into football. So if this becomes a recurring theme, I'd call it a concern. As an one time thing, it doesn't bother me.
But I'm still going to call him Sammy Potkins. _________________

Just because you do it or know someone who does doesn't make it ok. It's illegal and doing it shows an "above the law" mentality which is concerning. That type of attitude will land him a spot next to Charles Rogers and a hundred other guys with amazing talent, terrible attitude and decision making skills. _________________
