Why is that odd? I'm 8 inches shorter than my brother. | agreed. I'm 4 inches shorter than my brother.. he also has a lot of our mothers facial traits where ad I'm unfortunately a spitting image of our father.. I look more like my cousin than I do Mr brother..
Speaking of my cousin.. he has a twin brother who is 5 inches teller and looks more like My brother..
Not really odd at all _________________

Friday morning marked the beginning of rookie minicamp for the Vikings, three days for coaches to assess their 10 draft picks, their 15 undrafted free agents and nearly four dozen others who are present on a tryout basis.
So why were there so many veterans hanging around the practice field at Winter Park?
Defensive end Everson Griffen was present. Quarterback Joe Webb too. At one point, Ponder spent nearly a half hour beside offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave, freshening up on some of the details of the Vikings offense. A bit earlier, Phil Loadholt, John Sullivan, Charlie Johnson and Brandon Fusco watched offensive line drills while keeping a close eye on rookie hot shot Matt Kalil.
Frazier: "It's good that they want to come out and watch. They're hungry to get after it as well. The fact that they want to come out here when they could leave and go do other things on a Friday, that's a good sign. They want to be around football."

There are a total of 71 players taking part in this weekend’s rookie minicamp – the 10-player draft class and 61 other invitees, including 15 undrafted free agents that signed contracts this week.

There are several familiar faces from last year at this weekend’s camp, and one of them is that of Alexander Robinson, the former Iowa State RB who was with the Vikings during training camp last year. Robinson, a Minneapolis native, impressed in the Vikings preseason finale a year ago and now he’s trying to carve out a spot for himself on the Vikings offseason roster this year. Robinson has looked solid so far in camp. The other RBs in camp this weekend are: FB Matt Asiata (Utah), Derrick Coleman (UCLA), Josh Murray (Mary) and FB Tyler Legate (Nebraska).

Doesn't mean much. I just hope for no sprained ankles or worse.
The benefit of this is likely for the coaches, who might get info on where to slot guys on the depth chart, and who is fast, agile, or.... overweight. _________________

The Vikings rookie minicamp will conclude today. Given the heavy rain overnight, it is expected that the final practice will be held at the team’s indoor practice field.

DE Eric Latimore is from Delaware. He's the only one that appears to be from that area (although I didn't do a significant amount of research). _________________

I imagine so. I don't believe it will take very long, but I'm not sure whether they've even started talking numbers with any of them yet. The organization never has moved very quickly on signing players, unlike some other franchises. _________________
