No there's not - I had a 6"11 defensive PF and I played more SF then I did PF. |
Playstyle plays a somewhat big role in what your secondary position may be. But until you become a full starter, you will always play where the team needs you throughout a game.
I created a Pass First PG and during the Rookie Showcase, Irving played SG majority of the time.
I then created a Slashing SG (in hopes to play PG on occassions) only to play SF. |

Im an athletic PG, 93 rating. Just finished my 3rd year, signed a 5 year 65 million dollar contract with the T-Wolves. Our lineup is pretty good

My dude misses more than he makes. He lit up the rookie thing before the draft with 40 something points and now he sucks. Can't steal that much, gets the ball jacked sometimes. Hell, he misses As and Bs from the arc. But he makes Cs. He has sick layup moves but he misses them sometimes too. And its impossible to get points in the beginning.

My PG was awesome as a scorer, had my share of very questionable misses, but my problem with this game has always been getting rebounds and assists. Steals are easy if you can recognize just before they are going to pass.

My player in unplayable to me right now..just so many problems.
I mean i pass it to 3 point specialist wide open and they will not take jumpshots for the life of them...the AI overall is so dumb, its just annoying.
I really hope they bring back mycrew man...

My Player is infuriating. Here's one that had me furious.
I was guarding CP3 in a game and I noticed several times that if he can't beat me on a double cross-over, he'd go for an inside pass. I noticed it and attempted a steal. To my luck, I tipped the pass and stole it. They considered it a bad steal attempt? 
I lost an entire letter grade from it. I was rewarded for a tipped pass and steal... but only got half a grade. So basically, for making a great defensive play, I was freaking penalized half a letter grade.

assists aren't bad for me. steals are tougher imo cause even if you recognize the opportunity you can get a reach in or still miss the pass.

prolly bad, haven't upgraded it outside of when winning knockout does haha. didn't think of that stat

I noticed that too. It hates steals. Even if you get the steal it still says bad attempt. I also hate when it switches your man 500 times and then you end up letting them make the shot cause you don't know who to guard.
My teammates always get in my way too, it's so annoying. Much more fun at PF.

What all is different about it? I only did it with Dwight Howard for 2 games just to mess around and get a feel for the post. Do you still get endorsements and everything? Are the legends just a customisable as your Myplayer is once they've already been created? |
