The writing was on the wall for LaBoy after San Diego used its first-round pick on Melvin Ingram. With Shaun Phillips, Jarret Johnson, Antwan Barnes, and Larry English occupying the other four OLB spots, LaBoy became expendable. The move clears $1.5 million in base salary off the books. LaBoy, 31 in August, finished last season with 38 tackles and one sack in 14 appearances. |
Not unexpected, or undeserving. Now if we could only get rid of the other waste of cap space... _________________

I understand why he was kept, but honestly sometimes that immediate firing after the season is a good thing. _________________

AMEN to LaBoy!
Bringing back Florence isn't the worst thing in the world... we could actually use some phisicality with our corners...
And he won't be on the field full time, so that isn't such a bad idea. _________________
