That isn't going to happen. It would cost way too much to trade up that far. Assuming Dallas has the 21st overall pick, it would take the Cowboy's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks in the 2007 as well as their 1st round pick in 2008. It just won't happen.
Based on the NFL Draft Value Chart, here are the listings:
#3 - 2200 points
#21 - 800 points
#53 - 370 points
#85 - 165 points
As you can see, offering our first three draft picks still only adds up to 1835 points; still 365 points shy of matching the 2200 point margin. And seeing that teams often have to overpay for high draft spots, the Cowboys would have to throw in their 1st round pick in 2008. No NFL player, let alone a rookie, is worth two 1st round picks, a 2nd and a 3rd. _________________

Khodder,
You usually do your homework but like UK said a one position swap, um do the math and see if that would happen. |

A while ago I probably would have said no to Hall for the Browns, but with how unstable our cb's have been with all the injuries and what not, I wouldnt mind taking a stab to try and get a true corner that can just be reliable week in and week out....
We would still definitely take a look at a guy like Branch though as previously said... |

We WILL NOT take a QB in the 1st or even on the 1st day of the draft. Tarvaris Jackson is our QB of the future, so, bad Vikings pick. Patrick Willis is a much better pick. _________________

| I like hall alot, I do believe we can take Alan Branch as previously noted and still nab a high quality db in the 2nd with little drop of in talent. |

| I hate to be real critical, but this mock draft is one of the worst I've seen yet. It's not very good and it's obvious not a lot of research was put into it. |

The Browns need to get much better in the trenches. Maybe in a couple years they'll have enough other talent that they can take a CB in the first. Right now, it's not a good investment. _________________ You show me a good loser, and I'll show you a loser
