Well, his career is screwed right now. Apparently a degenerative knee and now he is out for all of 2012. Stuff like this.. happening already makes me really uneasy. Looks like we will probably try to pick up whatever vet DE is left in FA. Damn this blows.

Sorry for the news, first of all.
Second, I don't think the Giants are going to move Osi at all, let alone for a third round pick. Speaking as a fan (and I think the front office agrees with this), it is actually preferable to have him just one more year, playing his heart out for a new contract elsewhere, than to ship him off for a third. Especially since the draft just happened! We can't even apply it to this upcoming season. Ain't gonna happen.
And second rounder they would probably consider, although I'd wish they wouldn't.
