Man I am liking what I am reading on this page. Kid sounds like he can be real special. He would even be able to learn from Woodson for a year maybe two. Or the last page now I guess.

I wasn't sure where to ask this is I figured I'd just stick it here. Is the staff going to leave Casey at cornerback and use him as a nickel/dime back this season or move him to free safety? Even if there hasn't been a decision made on it yet what do you think will happen with him, in your opinion?

P.S. I'm sure this question has been asked before on here, but I am still curious.

They said they were going to use him at corner.

As a rookie, I'd rather they find him one spot and work him up there as much as possible. I'd rather him be comfortable at one role than semi-familiar at a couple.

I wonder if they see him as being Woodson's successor as the slot/rover type. A couple of years under his wing and he could be a star.

It seems the batch of young unproven safeties plus Woodson will be head of him at S.

I think this guy is going to be above Bush and House on the depth chart this year. Just a hunch he is at least the dime back at the start of the season and may even give Shields a run for his money as the season goes along. With a hopefully healthy T-Will and Shields on the boundary and him and Woody roving the middle, I really like the potential of some of the zone and man/zone looks they can give a QB in that secondary. Now if only the Safeties come to ball this year......

It's going to be fun competition to watch( or mostly hear about) in TC. Cannot wait to see it in pre-season!

Interesting. So Hayward and Worthy signed?

Apparently, all but Perry have. http://www.packers.com/news-and-events/article-1/Packers-sign-seven-draft-choices/01e38695-668a-49ae-9086-71a3113494e1

I guess I'm just not as confident as some that he'll be able in come in right away. Just so much more to the pro game both offensively and defensively to account for then he had to at Vanderbilt. It'd be one thing if their was no one behind Woodson and Williams but Shields and Bush make strong cases for nickel and dime respectively, House I would put in the same boat as Hayward at the start of camp as well. If it works out that way great he'll have earned it, but each move up the depth chart is going to be a substantial hurdle.

Just wanted to come in here and say you guys got a player! Hayward has been one of my top man crushes since October... really wish my Chargers could have nabbed him. I had him ranked as the #28 overall player, so to get him there is wonderful. I think you'll really like what you see out of Hayward if he can progress.

I loved the Worthy and Perry picks too... the rich getting richer. SMH. Laughing

I'd trade our first 3 for your first three any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
