I really though Chris Harris was the answer at the nickel cb position he was extremely solid last year. Yet, is was reported that the Broncos wanted Samuel, and now they are pursuing Florence that the Bills recently cut? _________________ Props to Deadpulse for the Sig:

Whether Harris is a 3 or 4 CB he's still going to cover the inside slot guys. The problem was last year we could cover the outside fairly well and once Harris took over one of the slots(while not great in coverage always in position to make the stop) we were ok but the 4 CB got destroyed all season and when we tried to play a S to cover the bigger, athletic TEs that didn't work either. _________________

As long as Chris progresses. He should a lot of potential but doesnt mean hes got the position locked down. _________________

| Rookies not having an offseason was a killer and Harris did exceed my expectations being the corner he became at the end of the season. The kid is so hungry he asks Champ millions of questions until he gets it right. I personally love this guy. So much potential Mayock was shocked that he missed someone like Harris on his Draft Board. With this offseason he was already participated in some leadership/trust workout with 11 other broncos. He will benefit greatly with the OTAs and Minicamps. I wouldn't be shocked if he became number 3 |

Putting all your eggs in the basket of a 2nd year CB isn't a great idea. I love Harris, but the Texans loved Fred Bennett too. Of all the positions in this game, young CB's are probably the most prone to falling off the proverbial cliff.
Like others have said - the more quality you can get at CB, the better. And beyond Harris, we don't have much of anything to shout about. _________________ 20 TIMES, 20 TIMES MAN UNITTTTTEEDDD

It's worth mentioning at the start that Asante Samuel is pretty much the definition of NOT a nickel corner, and purely an outside guy. Literally everything about his game is antithetical to playing in the slot. It would be a bad sign if the guys we're bringing in were brought for the purpose of playing agianst slot receivers. _________________ Stop slobbering over Brian Dawkins |
