Brandon Boykin
| Quote: | | One of the most decorated returners in SEC history, Boykin has a litany of accomplishments to his credit. He ranks second in SEC history, and first at Georgia, with 2,663 kickoff return yards and totaled five touchdowns on returns during his career. In fact, Boykin received 2011 Paul Hornung award, given annually to the most versatile player in college football. |
| Quote: | | "I was No. 2 in college, so talking to (the equipment staff), they said they'd give me the double deuces, it would be closer to my college number," said Boykin. |

I wish they would let players be more diverse numbers. Like if Boykin could still wear #2 (even though it was David's) but it sucks that some of the cooler numbers are limited to QB's and Punters/Kickers and aren't even used sometimes. _________________

Too bad they will never change that rule. I remeber when Reggie Bush 1st got drafted he came dangerously close to getting to wear his #5 with The Saints but the league shot it down, if he couldn't get it being one of the most decorated College Football players ever, I don't think anyone will ever get the rule exception. _________________

There's two videos up on the Eagles website front page.
LB group including Kendricks, QBs including Foles and Harris. Doesn't show much, however. _________________

Cox has seen time at DE, wouldn't shock me if on running downs if we lined up:
Cox-Dixon-Jenkins-Cole
All the tweets say Kendricks had a nice interception on a Nick Foles pass intended for Brent Brackett. From what I've gathered he ran with Brackett stride for stride on a wheel route, and outjumped him (a 6-6 TE with average TE speed and a 34" vert). Obviously only one play but he has the skills and athleticism to stick with most tight ends in coverage. _________________

Andy Reid's first poor coaching move would be making Jamar and Kendricks compete for the SAM position instead of putting Jamar IMMEDIATELY as the "starter" at WILL and have him compete there with the rest of the guys. Kendricks should be placed as the "starter" at SAM and have him compete with guys like Casey Matthews and Akeem Jordan.
I see Reid doing something retarded like ultimately having Jamar switch to WILL during the week before the season starts. Now he will simply lack the benefit of preseason preparation at WILL, and anything could happen in the 1st game of the season without the correct number of practice reps there. WILL is the simplest of the linebacker positions, but let's do this right.
BTW, Rolle that midget's butt out of the starting lineup NOW! |

Cooper by far has the skinniest legs out of the RB's. _________________

I feel you on this. Chaney vs Rolle vs Clayton for WILL, Ryans and Matthews at MIKE, Kendricks and Fokou/Jordan at SAM.
And I think Polk vs Brown will be a good battle for the 3rd RB spot. For some reason, I see Polk winning it in the end. Could easily be wrong about that, however. _________________

I think Chaney will win the WLB job but I'd like to See Kendrick vs Chaney vs Rolle best 2 take the WLB\SLB spots.
I'm a homer with Graig Cooper(being from The U) but I still think he has a legit shot in camp for the 3rd spot, Dion isn't guarenteed a spot(although he prolly will be the #2 Back) who says if Cooper out plays dion; Polk and Bryce have a great camp\Pre-Season the maybe Bryce\Polk\Cooper 2 of those three win the spot. Gonna Be a great Camp battle, wouldn't shock me if Cooper made the P.S he has 4.45 speed, very good hands, and is a willing and decent blocker, only problem is he's small at 5'11 208. _________________
