I think Vaughn is definitely still in the mix. IMO, he's the best pure return man we have. He offers some modicum of talent on the outside. We'll see how he returns from injury.

Lets cover that...

Locks to make team:
1. Champ Bailey
2. Tracy Porter
3. Dayton Florence
4. Chris Harris
5. Mike Adams
6. Quintin Carter
7. Rahim Moore

On the Bubble:
1. Omar Bolden
2. Cassius Vaughn
3. David Bruton
4. Syd'Quan Thompson

Outside looking in:
1. Rafael Bush
2. Tony Carter

Practice-Squad players:
1. Coryell Judie
2. Duke Ihenacho
3. Ramzee Robinson

Im going to say that of the "Bubble Guys", at least 2 will make the team.

Anyone disagree with this?

Bolden is a lock. You don't cut 4th rounders.

I think because hes coming off an injury he may be a candidate for the Practice Squad, till he gets 100% healthy.

Just my opinion though... I agree with your point though. You dont cut draft picks without playing a game. You can PS them though.

It's not like he was a late rounder like Jeremy Beal or Mohammed or Trevathan though.

Someone would claim him off the waivers.

2. Tracy Porter
3. Dayton Florence
4. Chris Harris
5. Omar Bolden
6. Cassius Vaughn

Safeties
1. Carter
2. Moore
3. Adams
4. Bruton

Practice Squad
1. Coryell Judie
2. Duke Ihenacho

Clearly you dont understand what I just said...

He may be a candidate for not making the initial 53 because of his injury. If he re-injures that leg, or shows that its not fully healthy, they will likely bump him to the PUP or let him get his feel for the game back on the practice squad. Untill hes 100%, nobody will take a shot at him because theyll waste a roster spot.

Its a clear question mark because of health.

^^^

Bolden is completely healthy. He's not a PUP candidate whatsoever. And he will not be a PS guy. If Bolden doesn't make the team, he'll immediately be claimed. He will not slip through waivers.

Thats absolutely false.

If he re-injures that knee (which is possible and is my argument) he will go on the PUP or the PS.

Why do you think a 2nd round prospect went in the 4th? Injury issues. If teams thought he was healthy they would have selected him higher. And no the argument that he missed the entire season is the reason he slipped so far has been proven not valid. Look what happened to Ryan Broyles. He missed the entire season, to the same injury that Omar missed, and Broyles still went in the 2nd.

Even in todays presser he said, "I think Im 100% again". You dont "think" you are 100%. You are, or you arent. If you "think" you are, then you arent. Which is probably true. He's a great player and I loved watching him play (said it on draft day), but this injury is a concern.

If we try to put him on the PS he will get poached.

And the PUP is only an option if you get injured before camp starts.

Omar Bolden will make Denver*s roster unless he gets hurt in camp and HAS to be placed on the PUP or injured reserve, just like any other Denver Bronco.

I really don't think he is a roster bubble player.

Even if Omar Bolden is not completely healthy, no way the Broncos cut him and hope to put him on the practice squad. Injured or not, a team will claim him. A 4th round choice who was rated a second round talent before he got injured. A CB that many think should develop in to a solid #2 corner in the NFL will not be ignored by other teams.
Some team will make room for him and carry him as a 5th or 6th corner while he recovers. So I concur with those who think it would be a bad idea to cut him with hopes of getting him on the practice squad until he is ready.

I thought if you participate in TC you can't go on the PUP.

Bolden should make the team no matter what. I couldnt find film on him as a STer but I've read he was a quality STer.
