The first time I haven’t picked a "top 2 at his position" player, but with good reason. Pass rushers have flown off the board, and to get one with Woodley’s all-round game this far down is a steal. He averages 12 sacks per 16 game season, and was on pace for his best year with 9 sacks in 8 games last year before his injury. Now healthy, and in the prime of his career at 27, he will enjoy the protection offered by the defensive line in front of him.

While he’s not the best run blocking tackle, even in the zone scheme, he has a great pass set and has shown year-on-year improvement in his play. He looked excellent against two good defences in the playoffs. If that continues, he will be the second young building block on my offensive line. And if deprived of Cushing, I’ll have the next best Texan busted for PED’s.

Call me a homer all you want but no QB that is 27 or younger has thrown for a TD vs. INT rate his career over 2.00 outside of Ryan. He reminds me a lot of Peyton Manning when Manning was in his early career.
