I thought it'd be good to do a top 10 redskins list. We did something similar to this last offseason, with E and during the season with theskinsfan21. I thought it would be a good time to do a current list.
1. London Fletcher
2. Brian Orakpo
3. Ryan Kerrigan
4. Barry Cofield
5. Fred Davis
6. Trent Williams
7. Piere Garçon
8. Adam Carriker
9. Roy Helu
10. Perry Riley
Man! It was hard to think of offensive players to put on the list. I didn't want to include Rookies (yes, even Griffin, because we have no clue what they will do). _________________

I was going to put Moss at 9 or 10, but I see the younger players having more of an impact next year. I really think Helu is going to have an amazing year. I see over 1000 yds rushing And over 500 yds receiving.
Riley only started half the year and had 68 tackles and a sack. I think it's fair to assume he will be over 100 tackles with a few sacks next year.
As for Moss, I do see a rebound year, but they will use him in the slot again. They just don't send him deep anymore and surely won't with the additions of Garçon and Morgan. I see Moss catching 60 to 80 balls but for under 1000 yds, I do think he'll have a handful of tds to go along with those stats but Riley and Helu will have larger impacts. I see Moss as the 11th or 12th most impactful player on the team this year. _________________

1 - London Fletcher
2 - Brian Orakpo
3 - Barry Cofield
4 - DeAngelo Hall
5 - Pierre Garcon
6 - Adam Carriker
7 - Fred Davis
8 - Ryan Kerrigan
9 - Trent Williams
10 - Kory Lichtensteiger
Kerrigan should climb quickly as should Trent if he has his head in the right place and is focused on the game. _________________

Drafting Early. Yea the answer is Drafting Early.
And the question...
*rip*
You know youve been doing this for years when Hall is mentioned in the top 40 talents on a team. _________________

You know youve been doing this for years when Hall is mentioned in the top 40 talents on a team. | Well he is talented, but even with all his talent, he's still not a very good CB.
To me what frustrates me most about him is that he has the talents to be a top 5 cb in the league, but he doesn't have the discipline to do it. He's not as bad as Albert Haynesworth with wasting away talent, but Hall isn't too far above Albert's level on wasting his talents. _________________

If there was talent. He wouldnt be ranked at the bottom of stat sheets every year.
as far as mentioning AH. He is very much like AH.

DeAngelo is the type of corner that needs a solid FS behind him. He's going to jump routes on occasion and he's going to sit in a zone and let someone get behind him. In the past, there has not been a FS that could be there to support those types of things, when it was a decent decision to jump the route, or allow an inside release.
DeAngelo is frustrating at times, but he's a heck of a talent. If Tanard plays like he is capable of, DeAngelo will have an outstanding season because he can rely on who's behind him. Unless you are one of the few elite corners, you can't get away with poor safety play. DeAngelo has the talent to be elite but even with his inconsistencies, he is still a #1 corner on the majority of teams. _________________

http://misterirrelevant.com/index.php/2011/12/12/watch-deangelo-hall-pull-another-haynesworth-vs-new-england/ | He's Defnitely talented. I don't even think that's debatable. Any person who can be a top 10 pick in the draft and make unbelievable ints, and have incredible returns of those ints is a talented football player. Anyone who runs a sub 4.37 40 is talented, And 4 ints in one game along with 6 ints in a season is talented. Much like Albert, he struggles with discipline and focus on the field.
Each could be all pro players because they are extremely gifted individuals but neither ever had what it takes to make them the best players in the game. Lacked the drive, consistency, focus, discipline and the ability to take well to coaching and work well within the scheme of a defense. Both do their own things too much, rather than do what they are asked to by coaches and then let the big plays come to them, within the regular flow of the game. _________________
