Died of a heart attack this afternoon, shocking.
McMurphyCBS: WVU announces former football coach Bill Stewart has died this afternoon from an apparent heart attack

Where did you hear this? I haven't heard anything about this from anybody yet today. I hope this isn't true. I got the privilege to play under this man for three years of my life. He is a great human being. This has me so shaken up right now. |

AOL sports has reported the heart attack saying he collapsed on a golf course.
My prayers are out to the WVU Family and to you jyod. Everything I've read about him shows that was an extremely friendly and genuine guy.

It seems like just yesterday he led WVU to that throttling of Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl. Very sudden, sad news. RIP.

| I live on the border of West Virginia and Virginia so I know a ton of WVU fans. I personally despise WVU, but may Bill Stewart rest in peace. My condolences go out to his players, family, friends, etc. |
