I noticed they have Konz going up against Phillipkeith Manley, who is probably the biggest guy at our rookie minicamp (6'5 330-335 lbs)..

apparently it's just a strain in his foot that a walking boot will correct with a two week stint... he'll be perfectly fine for camp. |

I saw that as well. If we start Reynolds I would honestly be shocked. Why would we draft a back up C that can play G and sit him, when we already have a young backup C that our staff is high on in Hawley..
That being said, the best player should always play, I just don't know how Reynolds could beat out Konz at RG. It was probably just standard that we had him with the first team OL because he started last season, and him and Konz had never been on the same field until now..

it's OTA's people lined up in general orders. not in any thing else. I'm hearing Hawley could end up as starting center for the 2012 season and beyond by multiple people at the branch.

I think Hawley should be our fill-in guy for the inside 1 more year, but if he plays as good as McClure I'd be fine with it..

the staff loves him apparently and were perfectly happy letting McClure go unless McClure took the deal that he did. McClure and Hawley are competing for the job but Hawley could very well win it. And Konz was drafted for RG as well in case anyone was wondering. Heard multiple times when talking with guys there that the projected starting lineup is Baker-Blalock-Hawley-Konz-Clabo, but if Baker doesn't get his stuff together, he could very easily be cut.
