Also, it's "you're," as in "you are," not "your." Just FYI.

Come on man...

Don't be that guy...

When it's an opportune time, I'll be that guy all day long. "My boy" Webb, ridiculous...

Thank You everyone for your concern over me where abouts. I am okay and will be posting again when I get some time.

From what I am reading about the OTAs I have a couple of quick observations.

-The OL is a mess at this stage, but that is okay NO one on this line is good enough to have a secured job outside of maybe Garza and we need to do whatever we can to get the 5 best players on the field.

-I really like what I am seeing and hearing about the draft picks. McClellin looks explosive and Jeffery looks in shape and that is all we can ask at this point of the offseason.

-I am a huge fan of our offensive weapons and I cannot remember a team getting such a make over in 1 season, which means I am still drinking the Emery cool-aid.

There's always one every offseason for every team. Laughing

But I liked James Brown a lot in college and was surprised y'all got him UDFA. He definitely has 'steal' potential.

All anyone wants is the best guy on the field. As for Brown, the only way he makes the 53 man roster at OT is if Webb, Carimi or Williams falters or gets hurt. No NFL teams carry 4 OT on the 53 man.

Carrying 3 tackles on the 53 is the norm, but teams do sometimes carry 4. The Packers in 2010 did, for example. I think it's very rare that a team has 4 tackles on the ACTIVE roster though. Remember that there will be 7 inactive spots (assuming they keep 3 QBs), and these can be used for developmental guys that they fear losing should they put them on the practice squad.

Or just stash him on IR with a bruised ego.

You must be worried your going to lose your boy Webb.
Hey, that's MY boy Webb.

I was very pleased to see Brown signed by us and I believe he will be on the PT at a minimum. He seems to be able to play G and T so that makes him more valuable than otherwise.

However, he poses no threat to J'Marcus's position on the line.

Not this year at least, but he's a great addition that could prove fruitful in 2-3 years

That is my hope too. Another raw guy with a lot of talent.
