It's very deep on the outsides, and is definitely the strongest area of your team.
However, Hali is not a difference making DE (much better performer at OLB) and is IMO the worst LDE of the 5 teams running a 4-3 front (I'd take Pierre-Paul, Tuck, Long and Watt over him).
Henry Melton is a one year wonder and is the least proven of the 5 under tackles.
Suh is a monster - no arguments there. Mario Williams hasn't had double-digit sacks since 2008 and hasn't played 16 games since 2009. He's an excellent player but again, it's 2 players out of 4.
Compared to
Crazy Falc's LBers (#1 MLB, #2 WLB, #2 SLB) (out of 5)
JGoldiscool's OL (#1 LT, #1 LG, #1 C, #2 RG, #3 RT) (out of 8)
Olympia's corners (#1 CB1, #4 CB2, #1 NCB) (out of 8)
your DL (#2 RDE, #5 UT, #1 NT, #5 LDE) (out of 5) doesn't look like an overwhelming strength.
However, if you are excited about your team, that is all that matters. I'm merely giving my opinion, not trying to flame you or your picks.
That goes for everyone - and I'd love to hear some thoughts on my team (critical or otherwise) |

| DaBlank the past 2 rounds you have taken the player that was in my 3 guy debate. Adrian Wilson and Darren McFadden. I decided to wait until next go around because I already had impact players at those positions but felt they were the best guys on the board. Once again we have very common views on players. |

I agree. I decided that I could select guys along the OL that would be more than suitable and can play at or slightly below a pro bowl level but that the rest of my offensive talent could carry the load and get us to a title. OL was strategically what I left for last to fill therefore I have the lowest number of so-called all-pro caliber guys on that unit.
As far as Age goes I feel as long as I have a young guy behind the old guy waiting to step in my roster is complete. Every team will have needs down the road. As players decline having a young guy ready to step up and into the lineup is what makes teams like Pittsburgh perennial contenders. Aside from Ray Lewis/Charles Woodson/Brian Waters I have multiple years left in guys that are 32/33 years old. |

Thanks for the kind words. I was hoping to grab Brian Waters myself, to fill in if DeCastro wasn't up to speed, so we're obviously on a very similar wavelength.
There are still a few starting caliber players (based on my initial big board) remaining on defense, but the offensive side has now been fully depleting IMO other than Phillip Rivers, who neither of us has any use for. |

Your OL looks pretty good considering the limitations of only using later picks on it - your interior is actually as strong as almost all teams (other than JGold's).
The only one that I'm unsure about is Solder, but he does have a very high upside. I just wasn't impressed with his play, particularly in the playoffs games I watched. |

Apparently yours is different. As everyone's will be - there have been three players selected so far that weren't on my big board at all (not even as reserves). Different people have different opinions on players - that's the fun of this game.
Also, to clarify my initial BB assumed a 3WR-1TE-1RB base. As such there are still players I consider starting-quality at TE2, RB2 and FB. |

Good pick there in Derek Cox - he wasn't great in his first couple of years but was very good last year and could be poised for a Ladarius Webb type year in 2012.
Also like the strategy of picking up the good young corners. (Sherman, Verneer, Cox) |

This is what I was talking about with different rankings.
Because I have two the same (Long at #2 and Evans at #1).
But I have Iupati at #5. Winston at #7. And Birk not ranked at all. |

Solder was a high upside possible bust type of pick I felt comfortable with. He played well, not great and had some bad plays of course but had no off-season before the year. I felt after a year of OTA's, camp and preseason his game would go to the next level. He was considered raw a bit coming into the draft as it was. I still need a swing OT and I really wanted Brandon Albert who went just before I picked. I took Waters instead as he was pegged to be my last pick in this round. I just did not see any OT I felt I needed to have and went backup NT instead. |
