I love what Pop said.

OKC is going to go through 11 out of the last 13 NBA championship winning teams.

It's not entirely as meaningful though, considering all those teams are shells of their championship selves.

I assume he meant 10 (Dallas [1] + Lakers [5] + Spurs [4])?

Cause otherwise somebody just dissed the Heat...ooooooooooooOooo

Your team lost... four in a row to be precise. Old legs gave in... give respect where it's due. Be gracious in victory and in defeat...
The Thunder deserve to be in the finals. But the way the refs helped them back in the game and missed so many fouls blows my mind. I'm going to be tormented by this terrible refereeing for weeks, tbh.

I'm sorry, but the Spurs were up 2-0... now if you wanna go back and tally up all the missed and ticky-tack calls since game three, then knock yourself out... but make sure you do it for both sides. There is human error in these games, it sucks, but it happens. At the end of the day the Thunder played harder and deserved to win.
I agree; they deserved to win this series. Of all the things I am currently disappointed in, it was the lack of heart and intensity shown by my Spurs in the last two games. The announcers wouldn't shut up about OKC's youth and athleticism but the Spurs just lacked the heart down the stretch. You don't lose 4 straight by accident and I'm just so disappointed in our effort.

You're wrong. They got beat by a superior team and could do nothing once OKC figured out how to defend them. Spurs didn't lack anything other than a completely inferior roster.
I wonder what Tim Duncan did to you because I have never heard you say a good word about the Spurs. To each their own, but just lik Pop said: we spotted them an entire half and we blew a huge 2nd half lead in this game - just went cold shooting.

He counted Boston as being the other team potentially, he didn't diss the heat as such.

Just thinking about this, I could see the NBA trying hard to let the Heat walk into the finals.

I've been saying this about the Spurs for years now, and it's been proven every single time in the playoffs. They've done nothing to me, I love Popovich and most of the roster. I'm just correctly evaluating them as a team.

I'd also like to point out that saying that a Greg Popovich coached team lacked effort is an epic slap in the face of G-Pop.

Oo damn, totally forgot the Heat won one too haha. LeBron clouds my perception of the Heat sometimes. Laughing

Well the refs didn't let them win last night. And now everyone will be watching, so we'll see if they make it obvious that are trying to let the Heat win.

Can we end these massive quote trees? I can't because I'm on my phone haha. The Spurs lacked hustle, what else can I say? They got out toughed by the Thunder and that's something that comes from the heart. Popovich does not and can not guarantee effort from his team.

I'm pretty sure not one person will agree with that.

You don't think the Thunder gave more effort?
