http://blog.seahawks.com/2012/06/07/banks-offered-minicamp-tryout/
| Quote: | Brian Banks was offered a tryout at the Seahawks’ minicamp next week after completing a workout for the team this morning.
Banks said he would talk with his representatives before making a decision whether to accept the invitation because he already had told other teams – including the Chiefs and Dolphins – that he also would work out for them.
“Right now, my plan is to go back (to Southern California) and speak with my agent to just get everything squared away and just take it from there,” Banks said after his workout and at the beginning of the 20-minute Q&A session with the media that followed it.
Banks spent 52 months in prison after being wrongly accused of rape. He was exonerated last month after his accuser admitted that she had lied.
“You guys just met a remarkable young man,” coach Pete Carroll said. “He is a great illustration of why people deserve a second chance.” |

Good for Carroll - just the exposure is going to be good for him. He has a lot of catching up to do and being in a minicamp can only benefit him. I doubt he makes a 53 but I'd love to have him on a PS. _________________ GO SEAHAWKS GO!

Pats release Chad Ochocinco.
I'd give him a shot. WR is our least deep position and I think he can definitely still play. He just wasn't smart enough to learn the Pats complex system. People call him selfish but he didn't complain about not getting the ball once last year. He just wants to win a SB. _________________

I'd be pretty surprised if we show any interest in him. I think the Jets, Jags (former OC is there), Cowboys will be the most likely destination. I think our WR is deep enough. Especially considering we are still a running team and it looks as though we'll run 2TE sets at least some of the time with Miller and Winslow. _________________ GO SEAHAWKS GO!

Some of the time? Im thinking close 50% of the time they will be out there. _________________ L.O.B.- D!CK, BOOM BOOM, ET, BB. |

Agreed. Sorry - "some of the time" is a pretty vague term. _________________ GO SEAHAWKS GO!
