Cheesehead430, we got any chance at landing either Vernon Hargreaves III or Mackensie Alexander?

I've talked to the Immokalee coach and he said there is a very good chance that Mackensie Alexander goes to FSU especially after FSU offered his brother.

Now the Immokalee coach didnt tell me this but i've heard Mackensie is very close to commiting to either FSU or Florida. Miami has apparently really made him angry and they are now out of the picture.

As for Hargreaves its very hard to tell. FSU is definately a school he is considering but i'd have USF still in the lead. There have been rumors though about his father being brought on at FSU if Stoops leaves after this season.

Pretty much this...
I think the staff loves McKenzie and have him as a high priority, no way they offer Mackerno otherwise. FSU is trying to make a huge push at Immokoalee alreadt grabing JC Jackson and previously having Seant who they are still in the running for. I would say FSU has a good shot at him ATM.

.
As for VH3 I'm not as confident. The only way I see him at FSU is if his dad comes over to our staff. USF and UF look to be out in front.

I really want Artie Burns as far as DB's go. The kid is big(6'1), and extremley athletic. He's underrated IMO, his potential is thru the roof. We are the favorite for him at this point.

RB Ryan Green commits to Florida State

Seems like he was one of the main targets so glad we got him.

At his spring game, Ryan Green played CB. First play of the game he hit the opposing RB and broke 3 of his ribs. Was carted off the field.

CB Adrian Baker commits

Kind of weird. Last night, he said he committed, but there was some confusion whether FSU would accept the commitment. I know theres a couple of CBs that are rated higher that I rather have and some say FSU is just trying to avoid a PR mess, but I trust the coaches know what they are doing.

The only reason it wasn't immediately accepted is because Jimbo wasn't available, and you wanted him to commit to Jimbo. I feel bad for him he has been bashed and questioned over his offer when it is very worthy, he is underrated as a 3* and is highly thought of by a lot of good coaching staffs.

Did the coaches not tell him to wait until Jimbo got back or did he just jump the gun?

He jumped the gun by posting it on Facebook or twitter I heard and since every fan base has a few creeps who follow high school athletes it got out quick. I'm assuming what happened is he called an assistant coach, assistant was excited and told him he would need to talk to Jimbo to make it official but he was out of the office (I think on vacation) and would return the next day or in two days. Once he got off the phone he posted he committed to FSU.

Clemson has the same policy, no commit is official unless it is made to Dabo. Trust me, no school is going to save face by honoring a noncommitable offer because the recruit went public and claimed he committed.

4* LB Freddie Stevenson commits, I expect us to be finished at LB unless we get McMillian or Thomas.

Also... Fisher was in vacation when Baker tried to commit so he was not accepted immediatley, Jimbo has to give the ok to any commit unless its an automatic take(Hargreaves, Tunsil, Thomas, ect).
