With the dullest part of the NFL offseason in full swing, along with my recent graduation from high school (that means it is now Summer for me) I figured I could whip something up in order to bring more discussion to the forum, now that I'll have more free time on my hands.
Now, I will be conducting write-ups for the top 20 players in Eagles history, a list that I compiled myself using my own opinion. Obviously, there will be some nitpicking as to where some players are placed, if you disagree with anything, I encourage you to post your opinion. The goal of this thread is to get some discussion going in the Philadelphia Eagles forum; in this case, particularly regarding the history of the Eagles, as players from the past couple of decades will be included in this.
I will try and post one write-up per day; which will include information about the respective player, along with their accomplishments as an Eagle, and a video of their best moment as an Eagle which I will post from YouTube. All comments are appreciated. Enjoy!

13.) LB Seth Joyner (1986-1993)
14.) RB Wilbert Montgomery (1977-1984)
15.) OT William "Tra" Thomas (1998-2008)
16.) RB/WR/TE Pete Retzlaff (1956-1966)
17.) QB Ron Jaworski (1977-1986)
18.) CB Troy Vincent (1996-2003)
19.) DE Trent Cole (2005-present)
20.) DT Jerome Brown (1987-1991)
Honorable Mentions
QB Sonny Jurgensen (1957-1963): Drafted in the 4th round of the 1957 NFL Draft, Jurgensen would finally receieve his chance to start after the retirment of Norm Van Brocklin. Jurgensen made the most of it as he passed for an NFL record 3,723 yards, and also tied the record for passing touchdowns with 32. He made the Pro Bowl and was also named First Team All Pro.
QB Norm Van Brocklin (1958-1960): He only played three seasons as an Eagle, but he made the most of it, being selected to the Pro Bowl all three years. He went out with a bang, retiring in 1960 after leading the Eagles to an NFL Championship; he also received his only First Team All Pro selection.
WR Mike Quick (1982-1990): Quick's career went quick, as he only played eight seasons due to severe patella tendinitis, all of which were with Philadelphia. He went on to make five Pro Bowls, all of which were consecutive. He lead the NFL in receiving yards in 1983 with 1,409. In 1985 he hooked up with Ron Jaworski for a 99 yard touchdown pass against the Atlanta Falcons in overtime.
OT Jon Runyan (2000-2008): The tough, hard-nosed right tackle was known for his nastiness and dirty playing style on the football field. Runyan was always reliable, as he proved to be the Iron Man of the Eagles, playing in 190 consecutive games. He made one Pro Bowl in 2002, and was named All Pro in 1999.
DE Clyde Simmons (1986-1993): While he may not have gotten the attention he deserved, considering he played alongside Reggie White, Simmons is one of the best pass rushers in Eagles history, currently ranked 3rd on the franchise's all time sack leaders list.
LB Bill Bergey (1974-1980): Bergey was the leader of the Eagles "Gang Green" defense throughout his 6 year stint with the team. He lead them back to the playoffs in 1978, along with a Super Bowl appearance in 1980. He was a four time All Pro, and became the highest paid defensive player in 1978. Bergey set the NFL record for most interceptions for a linebacker, and he once recorded 233 tackles in a single season.
S Bill Bradley (1969-1976): The first player to ever lead the NFL in interceptions in back to back seasons, Bradley was known for his great range at the free safety position. Along with his 11 interceptions in 1971, he also lead the league in interception yards with 248. He also contributed as a punter and kick/punt returner. He ended his career as a three time All Pro.
S Andre Waters (1984-1993): Notoriously known as "Dirty Waters", Andre Waters was noted for his aggressive playing style as a fierce tackler and ferocious hitter. The "Andre Waters Rule" was implemented in order to remove hits below the waist on quarterbacks while they are still in the pocket. He lead the Eagles in tackles for four seasons. He was also a big reason why the Eagles' defensive unit ranked first in the NFL in run defense and pass defense during the 1991 season. _________________

Good idea Mr. Incredible. Looking forward to your entire list. | yeah word! Wonder if he has both aCunningham and Nabbs on his list...also Bill Bergey not on the list is a surprise. He was a animals a legit couple hundred a year tackling machine, he just played in a awful era of Eagles. But we got to see his list. We had a lot of good defensive backs , it would be hard to keep 5 to 8 of those guys of the list...meeeoww! _________________

I think your first one was closest, but I'm not too sure. Who keeps track of these things? _________________
