I live in the Tampa area now and I'll get to see the Saints without fail at least once a year.

I'm pretty excited.

Hey guys, i'm putting together an NFL Highlight Database in NFL general for the 2011-12 season and your team doesn't have any entries yet. I want to get every team involved so we can begin competition for best highlights and "Play of the Year" sometime in the next Month or so.

All you have to do is think of a play or two from last year that you loved, post a link to it(preferably youtube), and i'll "upload" it into the database with an explanation and give you credit for the entry.

We already have almost 100 videos posted and just need a few more. This is a good way to put your team on the map, and let a few of your lesser known players and moments from last year shine. I think something like this would be great for the forum as a whole as it has an effect on everybody, plus who doesn't like watching highlight plays right?

Here's a link if your interested

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and good luck this season (i mean it).

Quote:
ESPN reports suspended New Orleans Saints HC Sean Payton has filed for divorce from his wife of nearly 20 years, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reported Monday. The newspaper, citing Tarrant County, Texas, records, said on its NOLA.com website that the filing took place on June 14, a little less than a month before the couple's 20th anniversary. It cites "discord or conflict of personalities between Petitioner and Respondent that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship" as grounds for the divorce. The divorce filing also indicated Payton, who is subject to a year-long suspension by the NFL for his role in the Saints' bounty system, has already moved out of his Texas home in suburban Dallas, where he lived with his wife, Beth, and two children.

Tough year for Payton.

Not only is this one the best, but it describes how I felt when Brees signed.

So i was playing madden a few hours ago as the legitimate Saints (as in actual roster), and Drew Brees was out against the Packers with a sprained thumb. Much to my dismay, Chase Daniel had to start.

Since i had to use Daniel, i switched from SP's playbook to the generic "run n gun". Frankly, i was throwing picks left and right.

But then a weird quirk came up. On the second INT (out of 8 ), Sproles ran up and DECKED Charles Woodson. Woodson fumbled, i recovered. Third INT, Sproles levels Barnett. Barnett fumbles, we recovered. So after that, i began to automatically find Sproles whenever i had thrown a pick, and sure enough, time after time, he leveled the guy with the ball with a fumble as a result.

Should i move him to OLB or something???? Laughing

Move him to SS, send Harper to OLB, send Shanle to Antarctica.

First things I do are cut shanle, move Vilma to WLB, trade PT for a MLB, and move Martez to DE.

Another fun one? Move Vilma to SS, he turns to like a 96 overall. Laughing

In Madden 08 for PC, moving Roby to CB put him at like a 73 overall and a decent nickle/dime corner.

It also allowed you to move Bush to WR for a 92 overall, then draft a new RB.
