All I know is Freeman throw more INTs to K2 than anyone else on the team. I'm not saying that it was all K2s fault my any means. K2 and Freeman had a ton of heated talks last year in the game. Also Schiano didn't like the fact he didn't practice with the team. I always though he had way to big of an Ego. Just my humble opinion.... _________________

That's the great thing about it only being a 7th though. If he displays any of that attitude in camp Pete won't hesitate to just cut bait. And I still wouldn't think it was a waste at that point. Low risk, high reward move. _________________

I'm pretty sure if we cut him we don't give up anything for him. _________________

| Quote: | After Winslow made the first of his trio of catches, the veteran tight end had a few choice words for the rest of the defense that was standing along the sideline as he made his way back to the huddle.
“It’s amazing. He’s definitely brought a different element out there,” Sherman said. “And I think we appreciate it on defense. He makes it real lively out there. When he makes a catch you can hear him. We finally have somebody to go back (and forth) with, because sometimes we’re kind of going back with ourselves – it’s kind of one-sided.
“They’ll make a catch, then there’ll be a little bit of talk. But it won’t be the kind like we’re doing. But Kellen, we’ll bring some of the trash. … He plays with a lot of swagger, and I like that. I like his style of play.” |

I welcome it BIG TIME. There are TONS of rookies on this D, and the one thing they have ZERO experience with is trash talking in the NFL. Yes they got it in college, against players they could physically dominate, but in the NFL rarely can you physically DOMINATE someone opposite (of course there are exceptions.... they are all HOFers mind you).
In such instances, you have to collect yourself, and outplay them mentally, instead of drawing stupid flags and making mistakes cause you want to ring the guy.
I think it's great. Get some trash talkers on this team. Get other defenses to go try and shove Winslow drawing flags. I love it. I liked what Jerramy Stevens did in SBOWL 2005 too. Granted he had 1-2 drops, but Porter was non-existent that game (thanks to Jones, but hey - whatever). |

I don't think our young guys have any problems with trash talking
I think it's just good that we finally have a "mean" player on offense to match the defense's intensity. _________________

After all the smack you talked about how crazy it was to give up a 7th for Winslow you should eat your crow like a man, you gave up your leading receive for nothing...
It was a conditional 7th rd pick, that we would have only given up if he made the team and contributed. How in the world is that a bad move for a former all pro coming off nearly 800yds the year previous?

lol wow, where did I say it was crazy giving up a 7th round pick for him? How stupid and illiterate are you people in this seahawk forum?? Can't even admit you're wrong about how good Winslow is and STILL not understanding how stupid you all sound? Unbelievable
And no I wasn't gonna say anything until some idiot thought it was funny we didn't get a 7th round pick like we actually care _________________
