how do others that live in Metro Atlanta feel about our local sports talk radio?
680 The Fan or 790 The Zone
for me its not even a contest, I am a huge fan of 680 The Fan and all of the programming they have, and I won't even have 790 as a preset on the radio, I simply won't listen to the 790 guys.
I don't often listen to The Rude Awakening in the mornings, but if sports is what I'm looking for than that would be the morning show of my liking.
I do, however really enjoy the daily noon-3 show, Buck and Kincade. Buck Belue and John Kincade work tremendously together.. Buck is the comic relief on top of being the resident "former player," as he was the starting QB for UGA during his time as well as playing baseball for the bulldogs and than playing a few seasons in the Expos organization. Kincade is just the normal, "loves to stir it up" type host. The chemistry they have together is great, and the connections they have together make the show a really good listen. The guys are constantly able to bring in guys like Chris Mortensen, Steve Wyche, and guys along those lines as usual "call ins."
Now, my personal favorite sports talk radio show is the 3-7 slot, Chuck and Chernoff. Chuck Oliver, the self proclaimed "King of College Football" is the comedic relief on the show even though Chernoff is also hilarious. Chuck Oliver is a local Georgian who went to Auburn. Chuck's main knowledge is in the college football area. Matt Chernoff is also from Georgia, grew up in metro Atlanta and went to Georgia State. I love these guys, they are informative, knowledgeable, and crack me up every single day.
680 The Fan is my first choice for sports. _________________

I usually always wait to buy new colognes during Christmas or Fathers day because of the deals, but the market has changed. A year or 2 ago, I used to get all kinds of cool things when I bought colognes and now you get stuff that is absolutely useless.
Even some of the gift sets are horrible. I don't need deodorant or shave lotion. Give me another small bottle or a coupon.

FINALLY, we are getting rid of the GA400 toll.
Anyone who has ever lived north of Atlanta will understand. _________________

I DEFINITELY understand. Great for getting to and from Atlanta and stuff. Had a hard time getting through there after a concert in Atlanta one time.. _________________
