Outside of their star players I think they still have a lot of positions they need to get better at. A lot of offseason distractions. Tough schedule.
|
Fair enough. I don't think the offseason stuff will be that big of a distraction since it's pretty isolated to Fairley and Leshoure. Both players who had near zero impact last year. But, I understand where you are coming from and your points are valid. They do have a very questionable secondary, and they lack depth across the board so injuries have always been really hard to take.
It'll be interesting to see how it plays out. Thank you for your response! _________________

Me personally, I'd love the Barrett Jones pick. But unfortunately I don't see it happening. We passed on the best interior O-Line prospect in David DeCastro this year for Kendall Wright and then we passed on the best center in the draft for Zach Brown. Mike Munchak and Bruce Matthews seem to be stuck on drafting O-Lineman late and developing them. It is 1 of few needs though assuming our picks work out this year. Needs would be C, SS, RG, and then maybe DE if Morgan doesn't do anything this year. _________________

Yeah, but if they are bad enough for the #2 pick then that means Gabbert probably didn't progress and with the new CBA, it isn't as crippling to select another quarterback that high after just a couple of seasons. _________________

Fixed. Saints have a pick now. New picks for Steelers, Chargers, and Seahawks. _________________

Cowboys pick 8th AND choose a QB? What happens to Tony Romo this season? He's coming off his best season ever, and the best statistical season ever for a Cowboys QB. Get real. _________________

Jerry Jones keeps talking about windows closing. It wouldn't be beyond him to do something drastic if they miss the playoffs again. And even if they do want to move forward with Romo, he'll be 33 going into 2013. _________________

the draft spot seems right at #17, and so does the prospect.
I'd gladly take Te'O over what we have now. _________________

OLB for San Francisco - but why...? Aldon Smith and Ahmad Brooks are set in stones for years and years to come.
Give them a DB or interior lineman. _________________

After passing on David DeCastro, the Titans are not going to take a first round lineman anytime soon. Not until Roos leaves / retires and we need a LT. _________________
