I have seen these for a few other teams, throw out your best guess for the opening day depth chart.
QB: Matt Flynn, Tarvaris Jackson
RB: Marshawn Lynch, Robert Turbin
FB: Michael Robinson
WR1: Sidney Rice, Ben Obomanu
WR2: Mike Williams, Jermaine Kearse
slot: Doug Baldwin, Golden Tate, Ricardo Lockette
TE: Zach Miller, Kellen Winslow
LT: Russell Okung, Paul McQuistan
LG: John Moffitt, Paul Fanaika
C: Max Unger, lemuel Jeanpierre
RG: James Carpenter, Rishaw Johnson
RT: Breno Giacomini, Frank Omiyale
RE: Red Bryant, Greg Skruggs
NT: Brandon Mebane, Alan Branch, Clint McDonald
LE: Chris Clemons, Jason Jones
LEO: Bruce Irvin, Dexter Davis
LOLB: K.J. Wright, Jameson Konz
MLB: Bobby Wagner, Barrett Ruud
ROLB: Leroy Hill, Korey Toomer
CB1: Richard Sherman, Walter Thurmond
CB2: Brandon Browner, Roy Lewis
NCB: Marcus Trufant, Byron Maxwell
FS: Earl Thomas, Jeron Johnson
SS: Kam Chancellor, Guy Winston
K: Steven Hauschka
P: Jon Ryan
LS: Clint Gresham
The backups may be completely wrong but I stand by the starters. _________________

No Doug Baldwin on the roster at all? Did I miss something?
Barrett Ruud will be the starting MLB over Bobby Wagner, at least on opening day. _________________ #FireDeanPees...and Chris Hewitt....and Matt Weiss |

I dont know what your DL is all about but thats not how its going to work. we dont run 2 ends and a Leo, the Leo is a DE.
Leo: Clemons Irvin Davis
DT: Mebane Jones Branch McDonald Scruggs
DE: Bryant Jones Scruggs
Rest looks pretty good, but you forgot guys like Russel Wilson and Leon Washington who will be on the roster at QB and RB respectively. Your single biggest ommision is Doug Baldwin tho, c'mon!!! hes the #1 guy int he slot. THink Moffit stays at RG and we see LJP start at LG with Carp likely not ready to start the year. _________________ L.O.B.- D!CK, BOOM BOOM, ET, BB. |

I dont even know how I missed Baldwin. I will change that. The Dline was a little tricky for me but I thought we normally have 3 on the line and then the LEO switches up from LB to DL depending on the situation. _________________

I didnt feel like putting 3rd stringers and the randoms. Feel free to order it anyway you like.

I dont like Ruud and for that reason I think Wagner has what it takes to step in day 1. _________________

Barrett Ruud will be the starting MLB over Bobby Wagner, at least on opening day. | I'm not so sure Ruud will be starting, I guess we'll see when the season roles around.
LE: Red Bryant // Jason Jones // Lavarius Levingston (I'm assuming Greg Scruggs is a Practice Squad guy)
NT: Brandon Mebane // Clint McDonald
UT: Alan Branch // Jason Jones
LEO: Chris Clemons // Bruce Irvin // Cordarro Law/Dexter Davis (I think Law will win out)
SLB: K.J. Wright // Korey Toomer // Heath Farwell
MLB: Bobby Wagner // Barrett Ruud
WLB: Leroy Hill // Matt McCoy // Malcolm Smith
CB1: Richard Sherman // Walter Thurmond
CB2: Brandon Browner // Roy Lewis
NCB: Marcus Trufant // Byron Maxwell
FS: Earl Thomas // Guy Winston
SS: Kam Chancellor // Jeron Johnson
That's 27, which is probably 2 too many guys. That means we cut out at least one LB, and I'm not sure which. _________________

I respectfully disagree with this, and I don't even think it's close. _________________

I easily see Bobby Wagner starting. Ruud imo will be brought in for 3rd and long situations or passing situations. He's a very solid coverage ILB, but he has shown he can get run over and I don't think he's that solid of a signal caller (can't say for certain on that part). |

Practice Squad
QB Josh Portis
OG Rishaw Johnson
WR Lavasier Tunei
OL JR Sweezy
DL Greg Scruggs
LEO Cordarro Law
I could definitely see a few scenarios that would change my own. If Tarvaris agrees to a reduced contract I could definitely see us keeping 3 QBs on the 53 meaning another position is reduced. I wouldn't be surprised if guys like Alex Barron and Roy Lewis don't make the team despite their perceived value. I don't see Barrett Ruud making the team because if he isn't going to start he doesn't bring the ST abilities of McCoy or Farwell. I could see Rishaw Johnson squeezing himself on the roster as well as Greg Scruggs potentially beating out Jaye Howard. I also think the battle between Dexter Davis and Cordarro Law will be a dog fight. I don't see Deon Butler or Kris Durham making this team. _________________

Yea, Carp is still recovering from the ACL tear and will likely start the year on the PUP list.
Moffitt is still being held out of practice last I saw but he should be ready by season's beginning and Thurmond is still sitting out with his injury. _________________
