|
|
|
1. Why choose the Vikings? Why not a team with better players, better owner, and better uniforms.... like the Titans?
| Quote: | remind me again who the Titans are...? oh right, that team in the powderpuffy blue unis with the running back that complains a lot, got it. if CJ had some real guts to him, he'd be pushing bouncers around in late night bars, you know...
i became a Viking fan a loooong time ago. like 1969. you guys understand when 1969 was, right? the previous century...? know what a century is, right? anyway... i became a Viking fan after they lost Super Bowl IV which they were heavily favored to win. i figured they needed some fans. |
2. Who is vikedaddy? What does he do during the day? What's he do as his job?
| Quote: | | vike daddy has been in residential construction and construction management for many a year. |
3. Who would you say is your favorite and least favorite Titan?
| Quote: | | the powderpuffy guys again...? i remember liking Warren Moon, does he count? honestly, i'm more of a NFC guy. but i really detest KFC. |
4. titanrick owes you a favor for something way back so you tell him to send himself and 4 other Titan posters to help in the invasion of Packer-land. What 4 Titan posters are you bringing with you?
| Quote: | sheesh, looking for a lot of compliments and pats on the back here, aren't you? i'd let titanrick pick his crew because he knows me pretty well and who i would jive with.
i'd probably want Ruskie Titan along as he's turned out pretty good. it took him years, but hey, it happened. |
5. If you could have dinner with anyone in history, who would you choose?
| Quote: | | probably a very good cook, doesn't that make sense? Robin Williams would be entertaining, but then Thomas Jefferson would be pretty interesting too. maybe Cleopatra. |
6. What three-course meal will you be dining on?
| Quote: | | something healthy. |
7. You can trade Ponder, Peterson, and Harvin for a healthy Britt, Locker, and Chris Johnson. Do you do it?
| Quote: | | hahahaha, next question. |
8. You get an all-expenses paid trip to anywhere your heart desires. Where are you going?
| Quote: | not Tennessee, i can tell you that!
daddy likes ocean beaches. so probably an island in the South Pacific or Caribbean. |
9. After the failed invasion of Packerland, Webby sends you to a deserted island. You have electricity and internet. What five things are you bringing with you?
| Quote: | whenever that question comes up, i always wonder why guys don't ask for boats. or helicopters with pilots...
i'd want companionship, but i don't know if i would think of people as "things," and that's what you asked for. so i don't know, scuba gear...? |
10. I see you post in the E! forum from time to time. Do you have a favorite book and movie?
| Quote: | yikes, just ONE of each?! way too difficult to choose.
for film, The Shawshank Redemption was a stunning film about hope and never giving up. the 1968 classic, 2001: A Space Odyssey was a major work of creativity. the Mozart biography, Amadeus, was a feast for the senses. i like movies that show the inspiration of the human spirit, i guess. but then, watching Pacino and DeNiro kill guys on the screen is satisfying too.
i've read a lot of books over the years. you guys have read some books, right? i mean books with covers and such, not just comics and magazines? if you're in to anthropology and linguistics, i recommend The Sparrow, which actually takes place on another planet. i read the biography of Steve Jobs recently and enjoyed that. man, that dude made a lot of people verrrrry wealthy. |
11. You find a bag with 1 million dollars in it and a driver's licence. What do you do?
| Quote: | throw out the driver's license, that's for sure!
in a situation like that if you wanted to keep the money you would hide it. and come back to it a few years later. |
12. What is something you've always wanted to do in life but haven't had the chance to do yet?
| Quote: | | retire a rich man. |

Let it be known, I feel the Titans lose in the trade in question 7. Obviously, vd just didn't want to rob us. _________________

Always have had a soft spot for Sir Lowercase. Good choice, tNv.
Good read. Although did you say you detested Kerry Collins??? Why would anyone hate old man KColl (unless he was sucking it up for your team)?? I always thought he seemed like a pretty decent guy. _________________

Have you never see his DUI arrest picture with him in a full length white fur coat and complete matching get up? He was a d bag earlier on in his career. We just got him after he was soul crushed by Oakland. _________________

I have seen it, yeah, and I know about his alcohol problems and what not, but I personally always respected him for not making excuses and maturing into a better person. I guess I overstated myself when I asked why anyone would hate him, lol, but I like him even after having to watch him struggle mightily as our starter.
Sorry though, wasn't trying to derail the interview thread. _________________

One of these is not like the others...
Hint: He takes snaps the majority of the game, wears purple, and is a bust. _________________

It really was a terrible trade on our part. The WR is wanting to leave, the RB can't keep from making slavery comments or getting arrested, and the QB is a bust. My word, what was I thinking??? _________________

It was a tall order too. I heard tNv had Ernest Borgnine all lined up as well just before... well ya know.

Aw, shucks. Right back atcha', vd. I still remember being relatively new to the site and seeing I had "a private message from vike daddy." I think I left it unopened for a week or more assuming it had to be someone trying to rip me off in some way.

I'm pretty sure the joke was just a play on initials: "AFC, NFC ... KFC" as in the restaurant chain. The general public doesn't refer to Kerry Collins as KFC - his middle name is Michael. The nickname just grew out of the hatred he got from some of our forum members. _________________

Ohh, I'm sorry - that image in not the correct answer to "I got a shout out by VD."
The correct answer was:
Better luck next time. _________________
