What the hell are you talking about?

They've given up 6 runs in 3.2 innings pitched, which comes out to an ERA of about 14.71

Still horrible, but not Mark Melancon horrible...

I couldn't watch the game so I take it they didn't boo Brauny? Maybe the cat-calls will cease for him in the second half of the season.

What the hell was Fielder doing?

Missed a short hop on a tough play. Uggla had it beat anyway.

It was a tough play for Jeter. Fielder should of had that.

Fielder is a great hitter but he'll never get a gold glove...

But I thought they were going to be screwed in their 3rd world series birth? Make up your mind.

Oh I think they'll be fine. It's all the haters like you that can keep wishing.

Sigh. Another year where the Rangers get screwed by the all star game and won't have home field advantage in the world series for the third year in a row. Cursed organization.

Rangers was 1 out away from winning the WS last season without homefield. Laughing

And would have won it if they had HFA

Ummmm.... No

I'm hoping they make the playoffs, though.

Yeah. So cursed.

He was like that about Oregon too till they won the Rose Bowl. It's funny/sad/embarrasing at the same time.

Obviously you don't get jokes. I made that number up. Laughing
..and who cares about Melancon? He isn't an Astro anymore, he is a Red Sox.

I love that Verlander is so nonchalant about the All-Star game, admitting he went out there treating it like an exhibition game and just hurled it as hard as he could so the fans would be entertained. Like the fans know the difference between 100mph fastball and a 94mph fastball if the batter swings and misses at both. I played and consider myself a casual fan and I'd much rather see a pitcher pinpointing his pitches and making batters look silly than watching a guy go out there and have no accuracy whatsoever but be able to throw hard.

Not that it'd have made a difference with the way the AL bats got shutdown.

I still say Wash isn't a good manager. He's a good friend to the players but he can't manage on the biggest stage. Really a testament to the talent that Jon Daniels has put together.
