Rabid about what? The game? The players? Or simply coming out to be seen in stupid costumes and just to get drunk? You mean the ones that get so wasted that they pass out in the stands and don't finish the game? Or the ones that jump up and down in the aisles getting in your way so you can't see the game? I think I got it right. Idiots.

I have been going to games for decades. And they brought this crap up here from LA after the return. I really wish they would take it back down there and leave the fake tough guy acts at home and get behind the team because that is what it is all about.

fwiw every team has guys that dress up as stuff for the games. they dont bother me and my son kinda thinks they are amusing. Laughing we saw the gorillla dude getting ready one time that was kinda cool. anyone can get drunk and get in your way (no one likes the drunkies) its not just the costume people cause most of those guys dont even drink at the game. you gotta stand up old man if you want to see sometimes. lol you wouldnt like sitting behind me. i really get into the game.

Sit by them and you will see what I am talking about. Kind of like that guy you invite over to the Super Bowl party that knows nothing about the game, just that the team is "badass". These jokers always talk about being long time fans. But when I ask them to name anyone on the 80 or 83 championship offensive lines not named Shell or Upshaw they look at me like I have a 3rd eye.

And for the record its easy: Mickey Marvin, Dave Dalby, Bruce Davis, Henry Lawrence, Charley Hannah.

And that is just off the top of the head without Google or any of that other crap. Rolling Eyes

ima die hard and even i dont know that hell the answer is. i wasnt born untill 81. you just know cause your old Laughing i know who the te's were. casper and todd.

Even Miami is going to update their dophin, it's time we updated "Randolph Scott", Al was a fan of his obviously making our logo in his image, dude was born in the 1800's, just like it was Al's time to go, the same applies to this outdated, tired @$$ logo. Make the move Mark.

Just my honest opinion but the Raider logo and image is meant to be a kind of throw back........old school badasses, opposite of the way most NFL teams are updating and modernizing. IMHO the newlook outfits of the
Broncos, Patriots, Seahawks etc. all look like they were designed by a marketing exectutive or at a board meeting of 'suits'. I can't believe we're even talking about this.......

Coming from a country where NFL is a very minor passtime and sport, The Raiders are instantly recognizeable and marketable..... no one i know gives a hoot for the Broncos or the Seahawks, Patriots, Ravens, Jaguars........ even with their relatively modern designs. 49ers, Cowboys, Steelers and Raiders are much more recognizeable here with good reason

seriously? first off, i resent the so cal reference as far as the wacky fans go , not all the fans from so cal dress up, get totally wasted, or are fake tough. let go of that so cal/ nor cal BS plz. i meet with a group from tulsa every year at arrowhead that dresses up, good people some get wasted and some dont, just like all the "regular" fans do. not all of the fans are old enough to even remember that we were in the big game in 80 or 83. i would never want to see our logo changed, but wouldnt mind an occasional concept uni, as long as its not some gaudy mess. take care coach.

That last line is just too hilarious! Sounds like Grandpa on a soapbox rant about new fangled technology.

So do you drive around fighting crime with a rotary phone in your Studebaker cop car?

The Fins are updating their logo, we sure as heck can update ours "out of whack" logo. Randolph Scott was born in the 1800's, it's time Nationers, it's time.
$$.

Kick Old @$$, huh? Hey, I'm a diehard Raider fan, just tired of that outdated logo, the colors, the shield are cool, but Randolph Scott as the logo? He's a cowboy, not a Raider. A Raider is supposed to be menacing, intimidating, frightening, this guy is about as frightening as Hue Jackson throwing his team under the bus.

You do know that a raider is a pirate, right? And that pirates looked just like normal people, right? I mean they wore pirate clothes, but they didnt have horns or breath fire. Pirates were menacing for what they did, not what they looked like.

The Autumn wind is a Raider
Pillaging just for fun
He'll knock you 'round and upside down
And laugh when he's conquered and won.
