| Quote: | | TE Brett Brackett is expected to push Clay Harbor for the Eagles' No. 2 tight end job. |
| Quote: | | Beat writers noted several times throughout the offseason that the former Penn State wide receiver looked better than Harbor in non-contact practices. Brackett will have to improve his blocking to at least functional before he unseats Harbor. |

| Quote: | | CSN Philly expects seventh-round RB Bryce Brown to be given "every opportunity to win the No. 2 job" from Dion Lewis. |
| Quote: | | Brown impressed the coaching staff with his receiving ability in offseason practices, and beat writers noted that he outplayed the undrafted yet more ballyhooed Chris Polk. Although Lewis will enter camp as the heavy favorite, Brown has a more well-rounded game. |

| Quote: | | Undrafted WR Damaris Johnson will "likely" be the Eagles' primary kick returner, according to CSN Philly. |
| Quote: | | The NCAA's all-time leader in all-purpose and kick-return yardage, Johnson also impressed onlookers with his receiving skills in offseason practices. Similar to DeSean Jackson in size (5'8/175) and return prowess, Johnson will likely displace the incumbent on punt returns while also handling kickoffs |
Not too surprised to see that info about Brackett and Brown, but the bit on Johnson is interesting. Maybe we keep an extra WR on the roster to make a spot for him, or one of Cooper/McNutt will not make the final 53. _________________

I have no idea who Brackett is, so it definitely isn't a good sign to see him beating out Harbor at this point, in my eyes at least, I was hoping Harbor would step it up this year.
I like to see that Brown is impressing the coaches; at this point it seems that he was well worth the seventh round pick, he has tons of potential and I think he might be able to showcase that at some point in his NFL career. Although, I highly doubt he beats out Lewis for backup RB responsibilities. Also, I expected Polk to perform better than Brown; there is still a lot of time left, though.
I'm overjoyed to see that Johnson will "likely" be our primary returner. He's a flatout playmaker and I can also see him being incorporated into the offense in some way as well. _________________

Wouldn't get too worked up about the Clay Harbor report, it was just non-contact. We all know Harbor only makes the roster for his blocking, so it's good to have a former WR challenge him, but again, the field is in Brackett's favor in a non-contact setting.
But nobody won a job for non-contact practices. _________________
