This thread is different from Seahawks Forum Fantasy Football. This thread is just designed for anyone who patrolls the Seahawks forum to talk about fantasy football. I decided to make this for us, so that we dont have to use a very clustered, Footballs Future-wide fantasy football forum.

So here, we can talk about the values of players, the grade of our most recent draft, or any fantasy football related stuff.

Enjoy!

I guess Ill kick it off. How would you rate this draft:

ESPN 10 Person league, Auction Type draft:

Team Jones
QB Peyton Manning 29
RB Chris Johnson 55
RB Adrian Peterson 40
WR Julio Jones 23
WR Demaryius Thomas 16
TE Owen Daniels 1
FLEX Jordy Nelson 12
D/ST Lions D/ST 1
K Rob Bironas 1
BE Reggie Bush 8
BE Philip Rivers 9
BE Coby Fleener 1
BE Leonard Hankerson 1
BE Doug Baldwin Waivers
BE Pierre Thomas 1
BE Greg Little 1
Total: 200
Remaining: 0

EDIT: Dropped Justin Blackmon for Doug Baldwin

The numbers next to the name are how much money i spent on the player, and I started out with 200.

Weird amounts. How'd you get Rivers for 9? I wouldn't have spent that much on AP considering we don't know if he's going to play much this year.

Towards the end of the draft, there are still some good players who never got nominated. Since people dont have as much cash, you can get them for cheap. Very Happy

You dropped a ton on AP and Chris Johnson. Considering AP is coming off injury and may face suspension and Johnson had a horrible year in '11, that's a major risk. Especially since Thomas and Bush are basically backups. Getting Jordy Nelson for 12 was a steal! He should be starting. Baldwin could be a steal as well. Phillip Rivers is a great backup.

I think that CJ will have another killer year this next season. The titans are on the rise, and an improved passing attack will help take attention off of him. I think he could be poised for a 1,500 yard season. As for Peterson, I was planning on getting him for around $25. Unfortunately, there werent many quality starting RBs left when I nominated him, so I was in a, "I must win the auction mode". Ill have to see if that pays off or not, but thats why I got a very quality backup in Reggie Bush.

Daniel Thomas was brought into be the "every down" back and Bush was supposed to be the 3rd down RB. Thomas has been a bust, to this point, which is part of the reason they just drafted Lamar Miller. I gotta believe that is still the plan and that either Thomas or Miller is gonna get the bulk of the carries on first and second down and Bush will be brought in on 3rd downs because of his versatility. I see Bush only getting about 10-12 carries a game. If you need him as a starter (if A.P. is unable to start right away or is suspended), it'll be very hard to get enough fantasy football points from a guy who is only getting that limited amount of carries per game.

You saw what Bush did last year right? He's not going to be a backup on that team. If Bush plays even 14 games relatively healthy, he'll have more yards than either guy between rushing and receiving.

Depends on what else you have. If I had a great RB that I got, I'd consider AP in the 3rd and hope he panned out. If I had so-so RB's, I'd stay away from him unless he fell to the 5th or something crazy.

I would take a chance on AP as early as the 3rd round (12 team league). Maybe late 2nd if there is a huge run on RB before me. He seems to be healing very well from his injury and his arrest is fishy at best. I think he could still produce good numbers.

Lynch on the other hand has just lost TONS of value...

I've done like 4 mocks on ESPN so far and the earliest he has gone, is in the bottom of the 3rd. Mostly, he's going in the 4th round, but it depends on who is drafting. Those were mostly 10 team mocks.

alright well im in a 10 team keeper league, its got a little twist with the keepers though. you can keep 2 guys drafted from the 5th round and beyond for your 5th and 6th round picks. im just not sure who i should keep with my second keeper spot.

5th round keeper: Ray Rice

6th round is between Matt Stafford and DeMarco Murray
