I'm gonna be pissed if we get more than a 1-2 year bowl ban, although that seems likely. I want to see Miami in a bowl game sometime during my stay down there, dammit! _________________

Whatever he did, he did it a week late and missed the NFL supplemental draft. Though he played really bad at times, with his size and athleticism you'd have to think some team would have used a late round pick on him. Now what does he do? Transfer to a FCS school or remain on scholarship at Miami and finish his degree? _________________

lololololololol we're gonna be terrible man.
I disliked Ray Ray, think he was overrated, and a terrible tackler. And yet you can argue his would still be one of our better players.
Gonna be a long season. Good move by Golden though. I think he's the only thing I'm looking forward to. _________________

Perhaps the reason the NCAA investigation isn't complete and a ruling has not been made yet is because the violations are still adding up under Golden?

Winding our way closer to the start of season, Im curious if we get our sanctions before it starts. I feel like the NCAA would try to do it pre-season. _________________

I really hope so. I just want to get this over with...I'm tired of waiting.
In other news, we just landed 4* S Jamal Carter. Nice to see that even with all the allegations and whatnot, Golden can still bring new talent in with the best of them. _________________

WRONG. Carter doesn't have great grade but he has decent grades. He has a 2.8 and he scored extremely well on the ACT. If his grades stay the same coupled with his ACT score he can qualify for UM. Plus with Don Soldinger back at Southridge he going to make sure Carter makes it The U. Solly will keep him on track and get him there. He has already said he is going to take him under his wing so I'm not worried. _________________

He says he is going to enroll early so they are not bad. Not worried as much about the sanctions after UCF got. We might skate. |
