| Quote: | Leon Hall told Geoff Hobson of the team’s website that he has been fully cleared to resume practicing. Hall last played in Week 10 last season, when he tore his left Achilles tendon. That led to surgery that kept him out for all of the team’s spring work and created some uncertainty for Cincinnati in the secondary, but he’s finally ready to go.

And boom goes the dynamite. Hope he doesn't regress too much from his pre-injury state. We need him in our secondary desperately... _________________

Greattttt news. How do you guys think he will be coming back? I don't really see him regressing that much because he was never a guy who relied on his speed to cover. His sound technique is what made him the corner he is today. Of course, speed isn't the only thing that will be affected from a ruptured achilles.
Maybe I'm just optimistic. What y'all think? _________________

He'll go from elite to above average or good. Certainly a value added player, but not like he was before.
Honestly, Zimmer is going to have to really work his magic because i don't see a whole lot of improvement on the defensive side of the ball. _________________

Agree about the 2nd part. Dunlap better be healthy. I feel like next year will be a defense heavy draft. We really didn't add much to it this year _________________

3 of our first 5 picks were defense this past draft: Dre, Still and Thompson. Out of those 3, I think Still can make an immediate impact. Also Iloka is a darkhorse to contribute this season at Safety.
I think next years draft will be balanced offense and defense... _________________

What are we expecting from Devon Still in his rookie year ? _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. I expect about 15-20 tackles and maybe 2 or 3 sacks. With Peko, Atkins, and Sims looking at most of the playing time, he won't really standout too much. I think Thompson hardly sees the field. Sims leaves via FA next offseason, then we go with a four man rotation of Peko-Thompson and Atkins-Still. We're pretty set at DT for the next few years. _________________

But Dre is hurt as of now. The DTs are nice, but no real upgrade at safety. Also DE and LB could have used an upgrade. I'm skeptical but I have faith in Zimmer _________________
