Tony Ugoh has left the #Chiefs. He retired.

Ugoh was at the morning practice so he made a quick decision to walk

Well, that was fast! Kyle Boller not the only one pulling an early retirement just after being signed this year. Looks like we need some OL depth yet again!

Glad he didn't waste our time and "pretend". We seem to get a few of those pretenders from time to time.

Wow, that's hilarious. I really hope he had zero guaranteed money.

I am not really too upset about this. I didn't think he was very good at all when he played for the Colts and honestly I didn't even know he left the Colts for the Giants last year.

He at best would of been a #2 tackle and I would rather give those reps to Stephenson, Allen, and Mims. Somebody with room to grow as I believe Ugoh had already hit his ceiling.

This clears a roster spot, the question is do we fill it another OL or does Bowe finally sign his tender??

As I am typing this Junior Hemingway was taken off the field on a motorized cart...That is definitely not good news as I had high hopes for him.

Adam Teicher just twittered that he didn't believe it was very serious. He believes Hemingway just over-heated.

No!. In this weather?

Hydration is life. Bear Bryant's career almost ended before it started, because he came close to killing one of his players through heat stroke. It may seem silly to cart a player off for heat exhaustion, but better safe then lose a player.

Absolutely. If a guy is getting past heat exhaustion and into heat stroke, you can have very serious issues, and the last thing you'd want to do is make him walk off. A 42yr old guy around here died a few weeks back from heat stroke, and he was attended to by a nurse basically as soon as he passed out, but there was nothing she could do.

Well so much for some veteran depth. Looks like we will be going young. Back now to Stephenson and Mims. And sounds like Allen could see time at G and T
