Which defensive line will be the best in 2012? I saw this poll on ESPN, but it was in the AFC East blog, meaning that it will have skewed results. How do you feel? Obviously this will all be speculation, since the season hasn't started yet, but I'd like some opinions.

I like the moves the Bills made, but I'm not ready to label them #1 yet.

Honestly, the Philadelphia Eagles with Babin, Cole, Jenkins and Fletcher Cox might well be #1.

I'd also consider Smith, Sopoaga and McDonald in San Francisco above the ones you listed. And I think a dark horse could be the Rams with Long, Quinn, Langford and Brockers.

Of the ones you listed, the Giants would be favorites for me, with the Bills just behind.

Where is the "other" option because it's the Eagles for me. They are easily a top 3 defensive line, much better than the Bills, Ravens, and Bears...

The Giants have the best 4-3 Dline in the league, without question.

Giants

The D-line of the giants is one of the big reasons why they won two Super Bowl since 2007

Eagles, cuz I'm a homer. But Niners are also good, but I think we have an incredible depth at the Dline.

The lack of an Eagles option is quite questionable. Our D-line alone had 46 sacks last season, and could do even better this year.

Was it just a select teams for this to compare them or are we talking league-wide? Because there's quite a few I would take over the Bears line.

Much better than the Ravens? Are we not counting Suggs? I would take Ngata+Cody+Suggs+McPhee over the Eagles.

Of the 4 listed I'd rank them as
1. Giants
2. Bills
3. Ravens (would be 2 but a base 34 knocks them from having 1 less starting man)
4. Bears (don't consider them top 5)
