Yeah, I remember you talking him up before the draft. I was a little surprised we grabbed him, but extremely happy. Just can't hold him back. Wonder what exactly we do with Flynn...he is being paid a large amount of money to be a backup...would have made more sense to restructure Jackson and trade Flynn. Going to be a fun season.
5 rookie starting QBs...crazy, especially a 3rd rounder lol. _________________

Bold. Hey, I think he's definitely the franchise QB of the future, I guess he's now franchise QB of the present _________________

Like I said, if Russell comes and throws 2TD, manages the game well with no mistakes.... Hed be named starter the same weekend
You go with what's right. This guy is ready to lead, he's ready to make all the throws, he's ready to carry the team, he's ready to win, he's ready to work, and now....he's ready to start
Never ever, EVER, ever, ever been this excited for a season....any sport. We're finally back, and we honestly have a Vance to field the best team we have ever had. Already the best defense IMO. We got a franchise QB, a Franchise RB, a Franchise defense....all we need is rice and Irvin to complete the puzzle, and we're Super Bowl ready for YEARS.
Never been so happy to be on the forum with all you guys.
As immuh said, LET'S DO THIS _________________

Well if you flipped the contracts of Wilson and Flynn there would be no issues over money, and by the time Wilson is up for a new contract Flynn will likely not be with the team anymore, so the money shold not be any worry. _________________

I never said I liked Flynn more. I never said I thought Flynn would even be better this year, and I've always stated that Russell would be the Franchise QB (well, since about week 2 of preseason).
What I did say was that it may be to Russell's benefit to sit on the bench this year. That it may be to the teams benefit to have Flynn in there this year. Because if Flynn can get the team the same record, there would be some significant trade value we can get out of Flynn _________________

Money really isn't the issue here it's not like Kevin Kolb were he got a bunch of money and was just given the job he got a decent contract that was it.
Not knocking the Kolb move by the way i was high on him until i saw him play with the Cards just pointing out that he didn't get payed to be the starter. |

I don't understand why you would want to sit Wilson that has proven to be the better QB so far in Seattle for an entire year just to get a better trade value out of Flynn, doesn't make sense to me. If Wilson is the better of the two, what good will it do Wilson to sit for a year?, Even if Flynn rides the bench the entire year he would still have a good trade value. _________________ Adopt-a-Hawk
