Rivers will have to carry this offense for another game. Hopefully Mathews is good to go for Atlanta, but I have absolutely no faith in our run game today. I think the blueprint to a win is:
1. Force Locker into mistakes
2. Turn short fields into touchdowns, not field goals
I think this game is close and relatively low-scoring, 21-17 Chargers. |

OMG we can score THAT many Touchdowns????
But seriously, my keys to the game...
1. Get our Offense going early
2. Convert Red Zone Trips to TDs
3. Pressure Locker into making 1st year starter mistakes
4. Contain Chris Johnson from having any "Home Run" type Plays _________________

Mathews is a no go. Gates is suiting up.
I hope this game stays clean. Things have been pretty nasty with the Titans recently. _________________

I don't think it will be as hot as it has been the past 2 days. 110 degrees! I was at the 2010 Holiday bowl with Locker in it so I look forward to seeing him play again. The Chargers did a good job vs McFadden in the 2nd half last week so hopefully they can keep it going against an equally explosive Johnson.
On another note, weren't the Chiefs supposed to be the best team in the AFCW? Losing to the Bills 21-0... |

The Chiefs were all hype. They're a classic boom or bust team, and they busted....HARD. Chiefs fans hyped them up to Tony Moeaki-like levels because they finally had a team that wasn't absolute crap, when their team really wasn't that good/ready to be a bigtime NFL team. _________________

Both Gates and Matthews out for you guys..heard the NT is out too.
Don't feel too bad, we're missing our stud MLB and our top 2 receivers will be limited. |

Yeah, I was just about to post the inactive list.
Gates, Mathews, Gaither, Garay, Mouton, Taylor and Wright.
3 starters on offense. And while Garay is the starter, there really is not a huge drop off to Cam Thomas or Franklin. Just having the extra body would help. |

You know things are bad when.....

Ronnie Brown is completely out of gas and the Chargers know it. He'll come off the bench and serve as the third-down back. Brinkley, a former undrafted free agent, is a desperation option only for fantasy owners. |

Curtis Brinkley will probably run for an easy 100 yards. After that run-D performance last week with no Sen'Derrick Marks and Colin McCarthy, I don't have much faith in stopping any1. _________________

We might be right about even then, because i'm not sure our OL could block anyone after the performance we gave last week...lol _________________

Clarly getting folded and falling on his butt while attempt to pass-block just kinda sums him up perfectly, doesn't it? _________________
