I wasn't able to watch week 1 against the Jags, watched all of week 2 against the Colts, and missed week 3 against the 49ers. I more than likely won't be able to watch next week, so I think we're going to win. _________________

The debut of Jerome Simpson!
I will provide a better analysis later in the week, but I think this is a game that the Vikings stand a really good chance of winning. Whether or not Stafford starts.
In fact, I woudlnt be shocked if MN is favored. The Lions defense is dreadful and there offense with Stafford has turned the ball over often. |

Need to do a better job pressuring the QB this week.
Chris Cook vs. Megatron will be the match-up I'm most intrigued by. Lions may have found something in LeShoure as well?
Percy will continue his dominance and find pay dirt this week. |

Should be an interesting game with Simpson back, and both lines playing better, and Ponder having confidence coming off a good game, and the linebackers and DBs having a very good game under their belts as well. I can't wait to see it. _________________ http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/9633/av5e.jpg |

Well, they lost to the Titans and barely beat the Rams... _________________

W1: Played a tight game with the Rams. Stafford struggled with ints and threw 3. Gave up 23 points.
W2: Lost in SF, the 49ers defense stifled Stafford. Gave up 27 points.
W3: Lost in a shootout against the Titans, who have been a dreadful team offensively up until this game. Shaun Hill came in for Stafford and played quite well.
Seems like the Lions defense just hasnt been that good this year but the passing game is capable of getting chunks of yards, no matter if Hill or Stafford starts. Stafford did struggle with Ints, week 1. |

do they pass to TE's up the middle, or shifty WR's on crossing routes? or is all to outside receivers? _________________

Well Randy Moss got one thing right. And this season, the entire season, we are the NFL's underdog.
Detroits defense isn't that good. We'll need to see Ponder keep playing with command, getting the ball to Harvin, Simpson and Rudolph again.
Hopefully Adrian can play well this game too. It'd be nice if we can spring him for a long TD run...
and really, we have to be oppurtunistic. Getting that sack, instead of letting the QB get away, picking off that errant pass, scoring that long TD. Detroit may be 1-2, but they sure are tough.
With that said, lets become the Lion Tamers this week and absolutely crush em! _________________

This a good opportunity to for teams to start taking notice of Minnesota.
If the defensive line can bring it together against a weak Detroit line, we should walk away with the W. The Lions secondary is a mess. I believe the coaches will look to exploit that with Simpson to allow him to knock off the rust early on. Its hard to tell which team will show up, but I like our chances. _________________

This could be putting the cart before the horse, but if we beat the Lions we could potentially take sole possession of first place in the North for the first time in two years. Green Bay plays New Orleans and Chicago plays Dallas. _________________
