Last Week (3): 10-6 (Solid)
Overall: 28-20
Thu 8:20PM
Cleveland Browns @ Baltimore Ravens- I'm not one to pick against the Ravens, but this could be an upset. Divisional game off an emotional victory, that's the recipe for an upset. But I'll say tie game until the 4th, Tucker puts us up by 3 early in the 4th... and Flacco score a touchdown to put to give us a 10 pt victory.
Sun 1:00PM
Carolina Panthers @ Atlanta Falcons- The Falcons WR tandem will be nearly impossible to stop, but after last week's "drama" and with the extra long week to prepare for the game... I think the Panthers put together the upset. Newton goes Superman Beastmode and has a big game.
New England Patriots @ Buffalo Bills- If the Patriots fall to 1-3... that would be hilarious, but I can't believe it actually happens. Belichick and Brady are too smart and will rally the troops to understand the importance of this game.
Minnesota Vikings @ Detroit Lions- Lions at home? Not sure if Stafford plays, but Shaun Hill is good enough to get it done. He has Megatron after all... plus other weapons.
San Diego Chargers @ Kansas City Chiefs- The Chargers have a better run defense than what the Chiefs went up against with the Saints. Without an elite run game, the Chiefs are the same bottom 5 team they were before the win. Even at home with that crowd... I think the Chargers are simply too much for them.
Seattle Seahawks @ St. Louis Rams- The Seahawks have a great defense and you better believe after they were gifted that win, they'll come out like gangbusters to try and silence critics and get them off their backs. Rams have a solid team and are at home, but I'll give the Seahawks the edge for motivational reasons.
San Francisco 49ers @ NY Jets- Jets without Revis, their defense takes a huge hit. The 49ers still have an awesome defense. 49ers win.
Tennessee Titans @ Houston Texans- Texans at home against an inferior Titans team. This won't be the game where the Titans get their ground game figured out. Locker is still green, this looks to have the makings of a blowout.
Sun 4:05PM
Oakland Raiders @ Denver Broncos- The Broncos are at home and they're not playing up against a top 2 defense in the NFL. Manning rebounds and the Broncos get back on the playoff path.
Miami Dolphins @ Arizona Cardinals- Not too familiar with either team. But apparently the Cardinals have some sort of awesome defense.. and they're also playing at home. It'll be difficult for a rookie QB to beat a good defense on the road. So I'll stay with the home team.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Jacksonville Jaguars- I like the Bengals to win. They have a really tough defense with Dunlap back. They have a top 5 WR in the game (IMO) and they have a top 15 level QB. The Lawfirm is also the type of RB to get you exactly what you need when you need it. That's the formula you need for winning on the road consistently.
Sun 4:25PM
New Orleans Saints @ Green Bay Packers- Who would've thought that such a prime time game last season is a meeting of an 0-3 team vs. a 1-2 team? Anyway, the Packers are much better than what their records shows and are at home. The Saints are close to what their record shows and are playing on the road against a great team... I think the Packers handle them for a bounceback win. The Saints could end up with a top 5 pick, who knew dat.
Washington Redskins @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers- How hilarious are those Josh Freeman to Flacco comparisons now? Freeman came into the league turning the ball over, had one decent- but overhyped season and was in MVP conversations... look how wrong people were. Anyway RG3 is the real deal. The Bucs have a strong defense, but RG3 and Shanahan should keep it close and prevail at the end of the game when RG3 steps up in the clutch and Freeman remains plateau'd.
Sun 8:20PM
NY Giants @ Philadelphia Eagles- Big time division game. This game could have HUGE implications down the road. Both have awesome defenses, but I'll give the edge to the Eagles. They're at home (the officials have proven to favor the home teams) and they have the better secondary players. As long as Vick plays within himself and doesn't make too many dumb decisions... the Eagles have the talent to compensate. Like every game the Eagles play, Vick is the X-factor.
Mon 8:30PM
Chicago Bears @ Dallas Cowboys- The Cowboys are at home and they have a nice defense. I think this could be one of those "multi-interception" type games that Cutler tends to have every once in awhile. The Cowboys defense will get up for the big game and take it by maybe 10 points. _________________

This is assuming the regular refs aren't back by this Sunday. The only team that doesn't have a prayer regardless of home field advantage is the Jets, IMO
EDIT - I've change a few of my pics because of the regular refs returning this week. Timestamp: Thursday 9/27/12 @ 11:56am. _________________
