So Mastodon released the Hunter a year ago today. Pretty solid album. Not as good as Crack the Skye, but that was probably the absolute peak of Mastodon's career. I don't know if they'll ever each that level again. They're a consistently great band though. Hopefully it stays that way. _________________

Lamb of God, In Flames, and HellYeah are coming here on the 20th of Nov. Then I get Dethklok, Machine Head, and All That Remains playing a show together on the 8th of December. If I can make down to Jacksonville Florida on Nov 11th my brother's old band is opening for Shadows Fall and God Forbid.
Damn I love living in Atlanta! _________________

I heard this song about 20 years ago on a college radio station. I never thought I would hear it again. Just found it on youtube.

Is it just me, or does Paul Gilbert have ridiculously long fingers? _________________

Best Maiden singer ever? Not even close. But to each his own, I guess. I tend to think anyone who says that simply does because they prefer those first two albums. Nevermind the fact that Bruce performs most of those songs better.
But taking stock of Di'Anno's life [I hesitate to say 'career'] post-Maiden, you cannot objectively say that kicking him out wasn't 100% the right decision. He hasn't learned his lesson at all. _________________

Just shut up and let me cash in my cred.
I cant stand most metal singers like Dickinson. It's just not my style. You know what I am more into.
I was just clicking links on youtube. Came across this. Its pretty fun, imo.

I dislike that band quite strongly. Way too mechanical sounding for my taste. _________________
