That's probalby why I like her though - I find the characters with the most flaws (Sansa, Jaime, Theon) to be the most interesting. _________________

What you have to remember about "Aegon?" is that he has Jon Connington at his side, who was as thick as thieves with Rhaegar. That will add quite a bit of heft to his claim along with the Targaeryan look. Still think he is a Blackfyre though. _________________

Margeary could marry Aegon. Also if some of their more powerful bannerman join the Aegon side, they could be forced. _________________

Have you played Dragon Age Origins perchance? Something Queen Anora said in that game reminds me of this siutation:
Quote: | "I am tired of ruling in a husband's name. If I marry again, it will not be to become a figurehead. If being a consort is not enough, then marry Alistair. Perhaps he will bend over more gracefully than I would." |
I think that would be Margaery's stance on marrying again. _________________

I don't know, maybe the Show Margaery, but she seems willing enough to play the game of thrones so the Tyrells win in the end. If that means a 4th marriage.
And no I haven't played much computer the past 3.5 year. _________________

See I think GRRM would have Margaery marry again. It'd be like a running joke
In all seriousness Margaery has been groomed for her role as queen. She plays the part exceptionally well. I don't think she cares who her husband is. Definitely more to her than meets the eye though...

Well, I finished the first book a few days ago.
And had a dream where I was the Jon Snow of my family, and another family that we are close with were the Lannisters...
It was an interesting dream
Starting on book 2 today.
Overall thoughts / characters from the first book:
- Enjoyed the flashback scenes and narrations. Really revealed much more of the story.
- Robb is still awesome.
- Cat Stark pissed me off early, but I enjoyed her further in the book, especially since she realized she started the war with the 'main' event
- Tyrion is even more awesome than before. In the show it hardly showed him fighting, yet in the book he is pretty much the main fighting character and does some serious work - "I yield!"
- Like the Hound even more
- Joffrey still a turd
- Arya is solid, really like reading her thoughts
- Sansa still sucks, but at least she's slightly improving
- Really enjoy actually following the Dothraki culture
- Enjoy reading the grand scale of everything
- Loved all the additional characters you don't see in the show
I'll add more thoughts as I remember them, but I'm really enjoying the book series, and I do think I'll just read through them rather than wait on HBO. _________________

Isn't the book a lot better than the TV show Ruskie? Not to knock the TV show cause it does a pretty good job but the books give you a much more full picture. |

I'm just trying to refrain from "I TOLD YOU SO". Especially all those people who say "Oh I don't want to read the books because it'll spoil the TV show".

To be fair, each is nice in it's own way.
But I'm a book reader at heart, even if this is the first book I've read willingly since HS 4 years ago... _________________
