I actually would say he's a lot like Foster. Good at just about everything but great at nothing. Good burst to the hole, great patience, good vision for cutback lanes and really good overall vision. Hits the hole fast and with authority.
I think you put Davis in a ZBS and he'd be pretty lethal. Has that type of skill-set, just like Foster. |
This. |
I still think Ben Tate is the perfect Comparison for Knile Davis, except, his athleticism is known before the combine. _________________

I had no idea Tate was only 214 pounds. He looks a lot bigger than that |

I see Steven Jackson in him.
No really I do. Big, physical, good speed and is good running and catching the ball... |
I've met Lattimore, and my lingering impression of him was that he was smaller than I expected. My hunch is that he's shorter and lighter than SC is listing him. That doesn't take anything away from him as a runner, of course. |

He's not. Lattimore might be slightly under 6'0"(like 5'11 3/4" but imo he's right around 6'0") but he's a good 225 to 230 pounds before his injury. We'll see what he comes back at this year. _________________

Guys I'm comfortable making comparisons with:
Andre Ellington - CJ Spiller/Jamaal Charles
Le'Veon Bell - TJ Duckett
Montee Ball - Chester Taylor
Marcus Lattimore - Corey Dillon
Eddie Lacy - Stephen Davis |

As far as Knile Davis, I see a little bit of Foster as well. I dropped him from my top 5 backs because of his stats, but Foster went through similar things at UT. He can read blocks, catch, and has great straight ahead speed. Would be great in a ZBS. But Foster is really sharp when cutting up the field.
My big concern is the injuries. His stock is going to drop because of that and his stats. But he will catch everyone's attention at the combine. I think he will be good in the pros depends on what team draft him. Best fit for a team that run a ZBS and already has a pretty good RB to create a 1-2 punch until Knile can prove his health is not going to be a issue. _________________

Yep. If Davis ends up on the Texans or Redskins, I'll expect big things. _________________

Where do yall think he will end up? I think he will be picked in the 3rd unless he start running over everyone for the rest of the season. _________________
