The Jets have only had one player arrested since Rec Ryan was named HC (Braylon Edwards). And it's because of his arrest that they did not bring him back. Yet some people believe that the Jets have more criminals on their team than the convict team from The Longest Yard. |
lol that one actually made me laugh. Im not saying they have a whole bunch of players with records but knew they wouldn't shy away from a player with a bit controversy attached to them.

He's good on the outside but struggles with tall WR's (no prob with Cromartie). Dont put him in the slot, he sucks there. This signing makes a lot of sense. He worked out with Revis in the past offseasons and progressed very well each year. He would have been a starter for the Lions and I could easily see him getting some reps soon.

Yeah, I was starting to think Revis might have been the reason we signed him. I hope he improved his covering the slot skills.

Before this past offseason I was a huge Berry supporter. I think he has a ton of potential. He's a very quality corner if used properly. He's also apparently a complete moron off the field. Hopefully he's got that mentality "cured".

The jets didnt sign him because of Revis going down, they signed him because Holmes went down. Cromartie is going to be starting WR now.

He sounds like he has learned from his mistakes, so we shall see. I really like his potential as well, and thrown in the fact that he is close with Revis already should help him keep his head on straight.
