I find it funny to be honest - no one says a thing when there are Andalucía or a senyera reial flag at the stadium. But somehow, when there's a basque country or a senyera everyone starts talking about the independent thoughts of each region.

It's not like Barcelona fans are going to cover the stadium with a estelada, it's just a senyera for a couple of minutes before the game begins. Every team in Spain has fans that go the stadium with their region flag and there is no complain, issues only come when Barcelona do it.

I'd have an issue if they covered the stadium with an estelada or start screaming I, IN-DE, IN-DE-PEN-DÈN-CIA at minute 17:14. But right now they are just going to place a senyera and root loudly for their team, just like they do in every clásico. FCB does represent Catalunya people and they are more than a club for their fans, but people are just over blowing a simple thing. It sucks the media is trying to mix football with politics (Catalunya parliament elections are coming up, Generalitat and Diada manifestations, etc..)

Saying Madrid represents Spain is false as hell too. There are tons of people who have an issue when Spanish flags come up at Bernabeu, they feel just as Spanish and do not feel represented by them. If anything, they should go the stadium with Madrid flags. I bet no one would a problem with it.

It's not Spain vs Catalunya, it's Barcelona vs Madrid.

Madrid is playing a great game from the tactical point of view, exploiting open spaces constantly and overflowing that part of the field between Barcelona's line of three and their midfield.

I see a Barcelona with no ideas and a confident Madrid.

and Messi scores from nowhere. He has developed as a 9, killer instinct to be just well positioned.

Messi's goal was funny to watch.

Pedro's card was harsh imo, but understandable. He had no clue Ramos was coming in, but his studs were still up high next to another player.
