I'm wondering if the scene is badassery or it is a person doing the badassery?

I bring this up as some badassery scenes may have multiple characters performing badassery that makes the whole scene's badassitude a high level.

Good Will Hunting - The Bar Scene

The verbal beatdown. He doesn't need to hack a dude with a sword, or shoot him in the face with a shotgun at point blank range, he simply completely makes a fool of the ponytail dude by calling him out for a complete fraud while ponytail guy is trying to impress a girl by being an a-hole.

It also has a nice tie in with this gem from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back which has a fantastic parody tie in.

He was #10 on my Top 100 Movie Badass list and it was mainly because of this scene and the "Carmine! It's me Will. Remember? We went to kindergarten together," scene. Dude was the epitome of a badass.

This is a nice twofer of badassery. On the one hand you have the obvious hacking up a good half dozen guys with swords, naturally, pretty badass. On the other hand and what I find even moreso is the utter disdain he has for the crowd (even going so far as to throw his sword at the elites who could have him killed with a word). Just the look alone is awesome. One of my favorite scenes in one of my favorite movies. Am I not entertained? Yes Russell, yes I am.
